SWEET! He’s thinking it’ll be close to actual Tour playing conditions, so this will be fun. Play the course to enjoy it, don't be like some and try to play it from tour distance. PMookie Posted July 3, 2019 Author Share Posted July 3, 2019 Tazz, I let you down. Not many pics. My buddy brought his 15 year old son, and one of his buddies, so we were playing super fast. Hardly any pics. I’ll be honest, after Valhalla, nothing could wow me the same way. This was a nice course, but tough to follow Valhalla. The greens were pure, and much quicker than Valhalla, the fairways were good, but they seemed wet in some places, and they had a few bare spots. We played from the tips, but that was one tee ahead of where the pros will play, so just shy of 7000. Interesting story: the designer was Arthur Hills. Arthur Hills was my Dad’s best friend in HS back in 1948!!! My Dad called him “Biff”. Pretty cool!!!After the first five holes, I actually played pretty well, and this was with the kids talking and walking on every single shot I had. They didn’t show any etiquette at all, and my buddy’s son ran his mouth the WHOLE round about how he shot 81 this morning. He whined when he hit the green. He whined when he hit the fairway, etc. It got old really fast. It definitely wasn’t the nice round we had Sunday. Here are the whole two pics I took.
