billymo 0
wondering about experiences with bending your hybrids to adjust the lie? Also wonder if Dicks Sporting Goods does this. My hybrids usually hit to the left, not really a hook, the ball usually just goes on a straight line quite left.
gaussman1 1,514
Man I would not trust something like that to DSG. Some of the glued hosels may be bendable but I think the easier answer these days is to just get one that you can adjust up or down with the hosel adapter sleeve. This used to be fairly common practice before adjustable hosels were introduced. It will likely depend on the length and material of the hosel. I definitely would not advise having just anyone do this - it's likely a skill only truly experienced and competent fitters/builders will have. 1 Quote Driver: Mizuno ST190 9.5* Aldila RIP Alpha 60 S Fairway Wood: Mizuno ST190 15* Fujikura Atmos Blue 6S Hyrbrid: Mizuno CLK 17* Fujikura Speeder EVO HB Irons: Bridgestone J40 CB (3-PW) Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 Wedges: Bridgestone Tour B XW-1 54* & 58* Nippon Modus 3 105 Putter: Cleveland Huntington Beach SOFT Premier 4 34" Ball: Snell MTB-X Bag: 2017 Titleist Players 5 Stand Bag
McGolf 678
I am doubting that dicks has the folks to accomplish that. We have the unit for doing them,,,, if they are truly bendable Quote Driver - 44.5" 5.0 flex 10.5 deg ACCRA tour Z GP MCC4+ 1 deg closed Irons - 5-pw, GW stnd length 5.0 flex same grip 1 deg flat. I had the same problem but my instructor identified a grip issue. Between instruction and practice my hybrid and iron shots are now straight. 10shot 109
Here's a tip, new style hybrid send it back to the manufacturer. If you are going to do it call Golf works to see if it can be adjusted.
edteergolf 312
I can bend them if the hosel is long enough. Used to do it a lot some time ago but much less often now with adapters. I have the Mitchel machine. Haven't bent a wood or hybrid in six months.
