What is your cold, dead hands club?

Disclaimer:  Putters don't count here...

With the recent discussion on your go-to shot, what is the one club in your bag that you can never see yourself parting with?  The club that will have to be pried from your cold, dead hands?  Mine would be my Z545 3i.  Off the tee, the shot shape is a tight little fade that I can always count on.  If there's ever a day when I struggle to hit it, I may as well go home because nothing else is going to work.  I just have the confidence to point and shoot with that thing.

For me I'd say my 8i. That's probably due to the time I spent 1 season here in Michigan playing every other round with a driver, 8i and putter only!! I got Purdy dang good with that 8i on all kinds of shots. From 150 to chip shots. So that'd be the one club i would never part with...

... Taylor Made UDi TP 2 iron. It is just so reliable and accurate off the tee and crazy long. I have tried several others and while the Cobra Utility is more versatile, it just can't match the TM for length off the tee. I have hit it really silly distances that do not coincide with how far I hit my 4 iron or my driver.

Dang, I'd have definitely said my putter, so I'll go with my 2 iron. Only club with which I can consistently find the fairway.

I'm the same way with that Z545 3i.  It's been bent to 19*, so it's not really a "3 iron", but the thing is so hot off the face.  I was in the golf shop last week and picked up a UDi 2i.  Sure looked sweet at address but I didn't want my 545 to get the cheating vibe off me, so I put it down real quick.

I can assure you that a year ago I would never say a fairway wood would take favorite club honors. The Callaway XR16 4 - wood is the first fairway that I hit well from the beginning and I have so much confidence in it!  I have tried many and many have failed and that's the reason I have lived and died by my hybrids.   Now when I have a long approach shot I have no fear about pulling out my 4 - wood.  Even on down hill lies.    Love it! 😍

Truth is, every club in my bag is fair game except my putter...but for fun, I’ll play.

My g400 driver. I’m not scared to hit it on any hole. It’s my marionette and it is my favorite to swing.

Dang it, I don't have any.

I mean... "cool!!!" That means that I get to put all participants on notice.

...At the moment, my Ping G400 Max with Fuji Fuel shaft. Wasn't the case prior to the Fuel, but the addition maybe 10 rounds ago has been awesome.

TEE Exotics XCG-6 3 wood. It’s been in the bag for 5 years or so and until it falls apart it’s not going anywhere.

... Awesome club! I have an XCG6 in like new condition I am putting in the classifieds. Just a great fw but my F9 is a better club for me.

My oldest club is my SCOR 60. I thought it was gone until Chisag told me about the groove sharpener.

Now it stays - probably for good. Pitched in with it on Sunday

My oldest "will not get rid of" is a 45 year old Northwestern 8i.  All in all, as a club, nothin really remarkable. Heavy blade style with an average still steel shaft.  It still has clearly clean face and grooves. Much heavier than all of my other clubs, but I still take it out fro time to timel

Reason for it place of honor? It was the weapon for my, to this date, only ace.

In terms of my. confidence in playing it as a club of choice, for now it is my 6i.
