Several offers have been sent out in shooter, but nothing has come about that really works for both sides. It could be we just drafter better in shooter!

You beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing!

Pfft....the skill in Fantasy Football is drafting 5 quarterbacks, spending all your money on back-up players and then having your wife mad at you for trading Mahomes.  She wants in next year!

I'd love to see 4 leagues next year. Definitely a ton of fun and good improvements from last season.

Ps continue on with trade offers. Now's a good time a year to shake things up and make playoff pushes!

Yes, but it’s not as bad as trading George Brett in fantasy baseball. My wife needs to settle down. She would draft Bledsoe if he was available.

Oh geez, just noticed Byrd was a healthy scratch 30 minutes before the game on Thursday. That’s gonna hurt my circus team 😢 Wish I could get points for that! During setup, we joked about finding a way to award points for guys that get hurt or benched but that would certainly be too morbid (and flukey) even if it was an option.

Hoping my all star kickers and punters carry me against @daviddvm

The circus league should start getting interesting with the game limit to use players. I know I’m gonna be looking to trade my punters here soon. They have carried me so far this season.

Any consideration to smaller leagues next year? 14 leaves the talent pool pretty thin.

Anyone looking for an RB or WR. Cook and Cooper can be had.. for the right price.

Coming from someone who did very poorly last season with 14 teams I thought much of the same. It would depend on pools I think, but i actually have loved the 14 teams and how fresh it is with so many teams. Plus it does open up more teams to trade with.

In shooter Scott33 is loaded with RB and WR. Stupidly talented team.

Looks like I might have out smarted myself. @GolfSpy STUDque in the circus league do I not get punting points for Long since I played him in the kicker spot?  He qualifies for both so I thought I could play him at kicker and basically play 3 punters. Is this not kosher?

Well, to end up 1-1 this week was actually pretty good... It’s been an interesting season so far, feeling really good in the circus league, and I think my “real” team is really starting to come into form. Hopefully Guice comes back and the Redskins feed him the ball... then I’ll really look good. 🙃

I tried at the outset. The response I got was “only 1% of 1% of our leagues uses punters so this is pretty far down on the priorities list.”

I think that means we’re the only ones 😀

I disagree, I think a larger league forces you to think about drafting and pick your trades carefully. There's more thought involved vs an 8 team league where every single roster is just stacked. Just MHO 😄

I tend to agree with this, there is a lot more thought that has to go into each start, and each waiver wire transaction, than if you had a stacked team where you start the same stars every week.

I usually play in 10/12 team league’s and find that to be just about the right number. 8 is not enough, no skill required and pretty much everyone should get a good team.

I started in a 10 teamer and we went to a 12 and I think that was a good size.....although I think 6 bench spots are too many; I'd go with 5.

I'm in two 14 teamers this year.... this one and one that I commish at work.

I knew that going to a 14 would dilute the league a bit so I decided to allow only 4 bench spots.  This seems to be key when going to larger leagues.  It hampers you a bit but it also means you need to be really selective on who you're going to hold on to and it keeps the FA pool decently stocked.  First year doing it so we'll see how it ends up .... may go to 5 bench spots next year.

My hot take is we should have done 4 leagues with 13 teams. All games should have been within your division or round robin with 3 games each week so all players play everyone. Trade deadline should match the actual NFL trade deadline since our season ends 4 or 5 weeks before theirs. Smaller reserves to create more free agents for guys with injuries or could not make the live draft. No injured reserve spot so guys can’t sit on players. But, maybe this is just how it works, again, this is my first time playing.
