fixyurdivot
Mr. Koepka added another PGA win to his resume at this past weekends St. Jude Classic/WGC. Is it me or did this event seem to slip past the radar? I'm watching weekend highlights on TGC and see Bruce holding up a WGC trophy... I had not even heard about it. Most likely because I don't get live regional coverage of CBS, NBC, or FOX but I've sort of come to rely on @Shanksterto keep me caught up on PGA events - did I miss the thread? https://www.cbssports.com/golf/leaderboard/pga-tour/18311970/world-golf-championships-fedex-st-jude-invitational/ Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test)
Shankster
No, sorry. I am up to my neck in work right now. Should be back on track for the playoff threads. These late season events after the Open aren’t high on my radar actually. I’m not a fan of the playoffs. It feels cheap, and pressured, and super commercial.Would much rather watch the late season EuropeanTour stuff. They don’t care about the NFL season, they play golf. bmaru99
Koepka says hes going to try in a non-major event and wins! This is why he is the best player in the world. Shows up not even 45 minutes before his tee time after being criticized by everyone and absolutely destroys the field. fixyurdivot and Rickp 2 Quote WITB 2019 Driver: Taylormade M2 8.5 w/ Xstiff Aldila RIP Beta shaft 2 Iron: Talormade P790 UDI 17 degree w/ Hazardus Xstiff driver shaft 4-PW: Taylormade PSI iron w/ KBS C-taper stiff iron shafts 52 degree: Cleveland RTX 3 56 degree: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 60 degree-:Taylormade milled grind Putter: Scotty Cameron Dual Balance X5 Ball:ProV1x

Shankster
Love Brooks, my new hero.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpyHeck yeah. After Tiger’s Masters Win I am whole, I don’t expect much out of him. Golf in my opinion needed him to win again. But it’s time to let go, let the next story be written. If he comes out and wins 3-4 more tournaments awesome... If...Ready for the torch to be passed on to the next dominant player, and I hope Brooks is it. After his performance on the big stage this year he seems to be the guy. After his performance on the big stage this year he seems to be the guy. Brooks seems to be showing a lot more promise than anyone else who's been touted as the "next big thing". The only exception would be Rory pre-Nike. He really struggled when he first switched to the swoosh. I think what we see from him now may actually be the lingering effects of a season lost due to equipment changes during a period when he was gaining serious momentum. Anyway, back to Brooks. The guy is a beast and there's no doubt he's got the right attitude about his game and how he approaches tournaments (even if it gets under the skin of some fans, writers, and other players). I hope to see him continue this domination for at least a few more years, but fully expect the current surge of incredible young talent hitting the tour to overtake him at some point. downlowkey, Shankster and Rickp 3 Quote Driver: ST190 9.5* Fujikura Atmos Blue 5S Fairway Wood: ST190 15* Fujikura Atmos Blue 6S Hybrid: CLK 17* Fujikura Speeder EVO HB Irons: J40 CB (3-PW) Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 Wedges: Milled Grind 2 54* & 58* Dynamic Gold S200 Putter: Tri-Hot 5k Two 34" Bag: Players 5 Stand Bag Ball: Maxfli Tour

Kenny B
I see no weaknesses in his game. He's going to win a bunch of majors; maybe not enough, but a bunch! Yeah, I don't think Brooks is going to have that issue based on how many times he's ignored his girlfriend on course before and after rounds. It's pretty clear his priority at most any tournament is playing golf. perseveringgolfer
I didn't like Koepka or his game, now I absolutely admire, respect and enjoy watching him play. There doesnt appear to be even a hairline crack of a flaw in any part of his game. He sets the putter up at address near the toe...is all I can find, and even that works tremendously for him. Shankster
I wonder who is going to shell out the BK money for endorsements on clubs.I don’t think he should switch anything up, but he has to be the most marketable player not on a contract right now.I vote him as POTY, and he wins the FedEx. Next year’s prediction is: Masters and Open Wins, 4th at the PGA, and 2nd at the US Open. Sprinkle in 2 regular wins, and another WGC.I think he has that killer instinct, and thrives on the haters. Going to be a beautiful year of golf... Just need to get these “playoffs” out of the way. TR1PTIK and Rickp

Unless he has a good week this week at the Wyndham, I don't see him getting to the BMW... too many players moving up past him.
