Graeme MacDowell and Srixon....?

Hey, all. I saw a Srixon commercial Wednesday and there was G-Mac in it. Then I caught the first round of the Honda yesterday and there he was, in a Srixon hat! I thought I was paying attention fairly well, but that isn't the case if I missed this. So, I have some questions:

1. When did this happen?

2. Did he give any reasons for the switch?

3. Is it just the ball, or is he gaming Srixon/Cleveland clubs, as well?

Thanks in advance!

The switch was announced a few months ago.

He is playing srixon equipment with cleveland wedges - srixon zt-x irons, srixon ball, srixon driver...

he is however sticking with the odyssey putter that won the ryder cup!

his contract with callaway was up and srixon (who lost jim furyk) must have made an offer that callaway couldnt match or didnt feel was worth matching. change down to money (a lot - $3m per year)

I was a bit skeptical when i read the news as he went from callaway equipment in the season of his life, to a change. he went out and shot a 62 in his first tournament with the new equipment though... plus all gear is fairly similar and tweaked to suit the particular pro's game now the name stamped on the stuff doesnt matter so much

Read some of it here:

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/golf/new-sponsorship-deal-firing-graeme-mcdowell-up-rich-list-15043209.html

he has his own website - think it's graememcdowell.com (but google him and it will come up), and there's an In My Bag section there...

did i mention he's not changed putter - still using the one that won the ryder cup...
