pulledabill
Buddy and I made the drive south for a mid day tee time to Mallard Cr. Played the whites at 6050 yards, but really shoukdve played blues at 6500. The 2some we played wirh wanted whites so...The whites actually brought more trouble in to play. The course is a rolling part open part wooded track. Lost ball options were plenty. Greens not real consistent on speed as I think some had water on them during the day where others didnt. Very playable though and they were smooth. I loved this course as I like variety off the tee. I hit 1w, 3w, 5w, 4h, and a 5i off the 4s and 5s. Accuarcy was rewarded with good pin looks. The negative was the bunkers were terrible. Like a dirt, gravel, and sand mixture. Crusty top but softish below on some and pure dirt on others. If this course was within 20 minutes of me, Id join.
