Well, Tiger Woods 11 will have Tiger and Rory McIlroy on the cover. So read into that as you want.

 

That's a pretty odd leap. If anything, I would have guessed that a guy like AK would share the cover, someone with a little more mass appeal. I like Rory just fine, but does he move the needle for the public at large? I'm not sure AK does either, but it seems like he's more of the type to have his mug on a video game.

This is sort of the Tigerless golf problem. No player has truly shown the same consistent level of competition and winning. They should probably make it Fred Couples Golf after this year...

No. I think TW for the XBox or Playstation III is phenomenal. The graphics are simply unreal. For the Wii, as much as I like it, it pales in comparison to those other platforms.

 

I will give up the sharper graphics for the Wii Motion functionality.

The reason McIlroy is on the cover is because they are trying to make it appeal to mass audiences. Also, they are advertising the new Ryder Cup feature. I think I'll create a new thread on this.

The greatest ever to me still has to be Bobby Jones. I mean...he walked away at the top -- he coulda done even more. I also like what I've heard about him off the golf course. Of course, you don't know how much was "legend" and how much was the actual man.....but overall he seemed like a real good guy. I'd be interesting to know what he was actually like as a person.
