Actually, it's a good time to bring this up for discussion. What are you all hoping for from Callaway's visit to the MGS lab today? I posted this on Twitter:

I take it as a good sign that Callaway retweeted their Most Wanted status a couple days ago.

As much fun as it might be for internet posting, it seems most profitable for everyone when MGS isn't perceived as having a "beef" with any of the OEMs. That frees them up to pursue their mission: to tell the truth.

I think is is just a meeting of the minds to talk about product and how MGS tests. I am pretty sure MGS meets with others in the industry; this one just gets more press because of the ball discussion and the major IEM is coming to MGS.

I just watched Ep. 12.....I have to be honest......after a long layoff, I was expecting a blockbuster show,.....I have to tell you.....this was boring AF...…..usually the show feels like its 5 minutes long......I wanted to light myself on fire halfway through the show.

Don’t think there was an eleven and haven’t heard how the infomercial clubs worked. Should see Sam or Harry tomorrow afternoon, I’ll try to remember to ask

Enjoyed the Ep 12 segment on slow play. There are a lot of things that contribute to slow play away from the Tour. One of the chief contributors not mentioned was the proximity of tee times at your local courses. I get it, they want to be able to maximize their play rates, but there is no concession to maximizing the quality of the players experience (degraded by slow play). Cramming the tee times too close together only means more groups too close together and waiting on players ahead rather than maintaining the flow, pace, and rhythm of their round.

Other factors that magnify the problem of tee times too close: 

1. Playing badly - let's face it, it's tough to play golf badly and quickly at the same time
2. Poor use of 2-man carts - Very little is more frustrating than watching a group ahead drive to one ball at a time where each player goes through their whole routine. Drop the first guy off, and go to the second ball - THIS is 'Ready Golf

There was an Episode 11. Don't recall seeing it posted on the site though (could just be buried at this point). According to Apple Podcasts, it was posted 8/2. Just looking on YouTube and I don't see it posted there so that might explain why it wasn't posted on the site as well - no video.

While I'll agree with some that the ball thing has been blown a little out of proportion, it still doesn't explain what we've seen from MGS and others who have purchased golf balls with very obvious defects.

I'd like to know how this happened (how did these balls make it store shelves, not how did the errors occur on the production line).

I'd also like to know how Callaway plans to address the issue.

On a product related, but different note, I'd be curious to hear more about the implementation of graphene into their ball products and if they see a potential use for it in golf clubs or any other equipment.

Thanks for correcting me I did listen to 11, just forget the numbers. I started just listening to hear it on Friday instead of waiting for potential video on Monday.

Asked Sam when I was at headquarters yesterday;  he has not played the round with the infomercial clubs yet.
