My Raptures have reached the limit of their technological advantage for me. I would like to see if 15 years of advances gets me back to my younger distances!  I would look forward to seeing if technology neutralizes distance loss due to age. Can I hit the G410 7 iron 150?

Photo of my 7 iron (Short blade length) - I like a compact club but would like the added sole width as on the G410's and at 69 would like better shafts (hopefully with a mid kick) to help with some added height and distance - I think I need to retire my 18 year old clubs and wall hang them in respect...... !!!

Current irons in Play are Left Handed Ping i500 green dots with a Project X 5.5 flex.   My Driver is a Ping G400 9.5 degree, Left Handed with a stiff flex.

The carry distance of my  7 iron is 150 yards.  My Driver average distance is 240 yards.

I am a LEFTY (in case the handle didn't give it away) and am looking for new irons, maybe with a lighter graphite shaft. I like the look of the G410's and would love to give them a test.
