jamo
A laptop with a webcam could do the same thing. Or just get a camera and copy the videos onto a computer. I don't really see it filling a need.
SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 9, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 9, 2010 A laptop with a webcam could do the same thing. Or just get a camera and copy the videos onto a computer. I don't really see it filling a need. This I would hope is less than a laptop though and the webcam optics are weak. I agree 100% with the camera and download option. I am going to buy a casio and gorilla pod to film my mess in slow motion this spring. $200 for the casio +$30 for the gorilla pod. This thing has to be more than that. Close to $500 i bet. mcbush25
I would probably just invest in a solid camcorder before I would in this thing. I am sure it is a solid product, but a camcorder will get the job done just the same.
MmmmmmBuddy
V-Swing retails for $329.99. The cool thing is that it mounts to your golf cart, range stall, golf bag, or whatever. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 9, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 9, 2010 Looked at it some more. Not too bad for that price. Does slow motion. Not as many frames/second as the casio, but the storage time for video is longer. Probably lower resolution. Finally red the size specs. This is much smaller than it looks. COuld be good. Mounting to the cart is a minus. I saw the episode of Jackass with the golf cart jumping. Long neck could help film over crowds at the Open this year... Kodak makes some really good video cameras for only about $100-$150.
