The first round pairings of the Cambia Portland Classic have now been posted:

Formerly the Safeway Classic, this is the only LPGA event I've ever been to.  Jin Young Ko's 114 consecutive holes at par or better just ended. Really?  Can you imagine playing over 6 rounds of professional level golf at par or better?  This surpasses Tigers streak of 110.

Local Salem Oregon girl  and OregonSt. Beaver Ellie Slama sitting at -7 after 2 rounds. Her brother, Tim, was runner up on Driver v Drive 2. 

Kind of cool.to follow a local talent in a LPGA event 50 miles from her home.
