gbtrsc
Wanted to try something different today during a scramble so I benched The a Srixon z565 in favor of a 2012 Cleveland Classics XL with a Miyazaki 60s shaft. Had hit a few shots with it recently but decided to try it for a full round today. Hmmmmmmm..... very long and straight. Much higher flight (good for me). All drives playable. This one is gonna stay in the bag for a bit. Popular Post BIG STU
Love it!!!!! Ain't a thing at all wrong with that------ I always liked those heads and I think I have one in a box somewhere. gbtrsc
As I recall I only stopped playing it when I was going through my hip deterioration and replacement. That cost me a bunch of flexibility and clubhead speed. I needed to go to R flex shafts. Now that I’m getting that speed back I can handle the S flex again so the Cleveland is working out so far. The Srixon is a great driver and will stick around until needed again!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk cksurfdude 1 Quote ------------------------------ Driver: Titleist TSr2 11 - UST Helium 5F3 Fairway: Titleist TS2 16.5 and 21 - Evenflow Riptide CB R Irons: Titleist U505 4U and T300 5-GW - Aerotech SteelFiber i80 R Wedges: Cleveland Black RTX ZipCore 54 and Full Face 58 - True Temper Dynamic Gold Wedge Putter: Odyssey TriHot 5K TripleWide Bag: Titleist 15 Cart

g-off
Strangely enough I just picked up a 270 classic yesterday and hit some absolute bombs with it today, the epic flash could be in trouble, the other contender is a 43 inch wishon 919 that I somehow bought but man that thing is a fairway finder and forgiving. The 270 Classic was basically my first driver. The old Callaway that came with my used set I got off eBay when I started playing broke before I even got to use it in a round. Picked up the Cleveland Classic and it did great for me my first two years before I succumbed to the lure of the Cobra this year. I really need to put the two head-to-head and see if that expensive new driver is even doing me any good. I love the 270 though. A simple, classy design and easy to hit. cksurfdude 1 Quote Driver: King F9 10.5* Helium Shaft Woods: R580 5W, 7W Hybrids: Nicklaus Dual Point 4H Irons: F9 Speedback One Length 6i - PW Wedges: 588 RTX 2.0 48*, 52*, 58* Putter: Impact 3 Bag: Grom 14-way stand bag Ball: GolfJet Jet 4 Rangefinder: NX7 Pro or ShotScope V2

gbtrsc
Mine is still in the bag. Fairway finder and long as anything else. Only issue that I have found is that when the ball and or clubface are wet it can produce some knuckleball type shots. therod
I went old school last week myself. I took 2 drivers out with me, my gamer Cobra F7+. And an old friend that had been sitting in the trunk for several years now, my Geek DotComThis driver. Wow. I had forgotten just how great that DCT driver is. And it was several yards longer than my Cobra. That head is probably 12-15 years old. And it's still LONG. It's going to be staying in the bag for awhile. I might even let him try a new shaft, as I have something in mind to try. But that DCT driver is still seriously long, and feels amazing. My old gamer is once again my new gamer. cksurfdude and g-off
