fixyurdivot
This event is quickly sneaking up - only a couple weeks away. Should be a very competitive tournament. I don't think team Europe is as strong this year they were in 2017 but still has some great players. Julie looks to have pulled together a good mix of rookies and veterans. My prediction is a USA win with Altomare playing a big role. http://solheimcup.com/ tony@CIC, perseveringgolfer and josmi15 3 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test)

It's taken her quite awhile to return to good golf after having a baby, but she played pretty well several weeks ago. I'm sure that she won't want to let the team down, so I expect her to play well. With that said... I'm still picking Europe, but I've been wrong before, so... fixyurdivot 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

pulledabill
I give Europe the edge as they have 1 less rookie on the team and appear to have more experience on the board. Lewis doesn't have a great record in Cup play from the looks of it. perseveringgolfer
Lovely day here today, chilly but hardly any wind. Charley Hull just chunked her tee shot at the par 3 6th 100yds straight into the swamp. I note they are off the 2nd most forward tees unfortunately but maybe a decision based on the wet weather earlier in the week. Greens are looking fantastic despite all the rain. artful_golfer
I tried for hours last night to post Solheim Cup photos and kept getting kicked out - sorry. But I can tell you about it. The first day was almost perfect. The course is so perfect it looks like artificial turf. The weather was beautiful even though nippy for us Texans. Every time the warmth of the sun went behind a cloud we put lifted jacket hoods and a few times put on wind pants. Some our players did the same. We will prepare for cooler and windier conditions today. We didn’t hear any negative comments in the crowd about pace of play but did read about it in the news. I commented to my husband a couple of times how long it took a player to get ready to putt. Looking back on that it was always a European team member.Gleneagles and Scotland are beautiful and a lush green right now. I sent a few photos to another spy so hopefully they can post those for you to see. Good atmosphere - all of the spectators are friendly. Even though the overwhelming support is for Europe, they do respectfully clap and yell good shot for the Americans. No booing or grumbling even though there were a few sighs. I understand we were even on TV, standing behind players on #10 tee box.Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy tony@CIC, perseveringgolfer, Golfspy_CG2 and 1 other 4 Quote PXG 0811 XF driver Serene: 3 wood, 4 & 5 hybrid iron r7 Draw, Flex L: 4, 6 - 9 irons Wedges: RTX Zipcore 46 mid bounce; RTX-3: 52/10 wedge; and Tour Action 900 60* low bounce Armlock putter or E-2 Torque custom fit putter Tour B XS golf ball V3
