Dang, Lexi! Everyone has pants and jackets on, and Lexi’s in shorts showing off those legs!

with an hour to go I was 100% convinced USA would retain the Cup with 14 points- what a turnaround and very exciting.

Some great golf under extreme pressure and a fantastic advert for womens golf 👏

I admit the conditions are challenging  "freezing" come on! We were playing 25 miles south at Grangemouth and guys were wearing shorts.
Today 56'F bamly late summer in Scotland. I'm playing in Dundee today so will miss the coverage. EU-ROPE.

When I’m cold enough I can’t feel my toes, this girl that likes hot South Texas days calls it freezing. There were no shorts at Gleneagles yesterday. Jackets, stocking caps and cold red noses. But today warmed up nicely I’m sure you would have enjoyed it.

Solheim Cup was definitely exciting to watch today. It warmed up nicely and the crowds were larger and rowdier and more fun. We kept thinking surely USA could find another 1/2 point but not to be. The crowd came for great matches so they were ecstatic.

The above photo is looking across #17 green at the crowd.

Some holes are so beautiful and ideal. This is looking down #7. Lisette Salas is in the fairway.

One last photo. Just below the red arrow is a clever guy in the stands holding up 2 yellow inflated noise tubes. With every tee shot on #1 he moves his the tubes slowly right, left or straight forward to indicated the direction of the drive. Helped those of us loosing the drives as they came toward us know where to look.

Headed home to Texas soon and back to my Wilson D7 Challenge review.

As much as it hurts to say it - Congrats to the European Team!. As to the American Team - most of you played extraordinarily well - especially for those conditions. Lexi we need to talk!

Disappointed the US couldn't close it out.  To me Ciganda pulling out a win with a par on 18 over Danielle Kang was a big blow to their chances.  Thought Kanf had that one with about 3 or 4 holes to go

But credit to Europe and especially Suzanne Pettersen for clutch play down the stretch.

A game of what might have been on the Europe side as well Charley Hull halving her match when a par on 18 would have got her the point and Anna Van Dame. She was amazing on Friday but someone needs to talk to her about hole strategy, her decision making on both Saturday and Sunday on 18 cost her one and half points.

But what a climax on the last stroke on the last green with a wild card pick playing her last Solhiem Cup. She misses USA retain, she holes Europe win. Hollywood couldn't have written the script.

Anyway onto Inverness in 2 years.

So true about Europe's missed chances as well.  I felt bad for Van Dame, you could tell she was devestated after her match.  For that I'm glad it didn't end up costing them them cup.   While I of course was rooting for the US, I was mostly rooting for each player, as I enjoy watching each one from both sides.

So much class was shown by both sides, from what I saw.

I did see bits and pieces of this - most of that on Saturday - good, quality golf - lovely course.  With all due respect to both teams and the great play I would suggest that the winner take on a team from Asia next year.  Let's add a third Continent to the mix and get to see some more great golf ----

That's an interesting thought/suggestion.  Would it use an elimination format, with three becoming two... or??  And how about Canada?  Maybe we should be team USA North America?
