Badams69
47 High School Golf Coach and Teacher. Gave up an assistant pro job in the 90's thinking I couldn't live on the money (jokes on me - teacher salary isn't buying any Jaguars that actually start) So - it is really neat to get to work with players of all ability levels and see them improve. Enjoy it and kids are showing good on methods used. Who knows, might work my way into coaching golf privately one of these years. Love this site! Super helpful members here. deauxrite
Retired Army pilot..then retired civilian pilot...then retired small business owner (technology). Now I find that being retired means that I can work at the local golf course part time. It also means that I can play and practice golf as much as I have always wanted to. It has resulted in my handicap dropping to a very nice (for me) level and my game is just about where I would like for it to be. As for being retired..I find that working 12-20 hours a week is just enough to keep me interested in what is going on in the community and the golf course, but not enough to make me want to retire completely. I guess that I would say that I am just about where I want to be at the ripe old age of 68. cksurfdude, Rickp, NiftyNiblick and 6 others 9 Quote M2 Driver Fujikura Regular Flex Mizuno 921 Tour Irons-- Titleist Wedges A new Sik Armlock putter

Popular Post PMookie
I posted on here in 2016, so since I’ve changed jobs, here’s an update:I work for the world’s largest Eye Bank.... Our company is one that will come and collect the eyes of organ donors, then we use the various “parts” for corneal transplant. I specifically call on Ophthalmic Surgeons, try to get them to use our corneal tissue, and sell them the devices used for the surgery, as well as train them HOW to do the surgery. Being in the OR is enjoyable, and it’s pretty crazy that I teach SURGEONS how to do their job! They went to school for 14 years, not me! Hahaha!I cover 8 states and travel WAY too much for my liking. I’d still love to figure out how I can get back to coaching, but I’m 50 with 15/11/7 year old kids... Not gonna happen until I’m 70!Hoping I can stay in Ophthalmology, but work for another company with a smaller territory.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro fixyurdivot, JohnSmalls, fozcycle and 7 others 10 Quote Driver: Ping G430 Max 9*, Ping Tour 70X Fairway: Ping G425 15*, Ping Tour 70X Hybrid: Ping G425 22*, Ping Tour 80X Irons: Ping i230 4-GW, TT DG X100 Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 Ball: Titleist 2023 AVX
