I specifically call on Ophthalmic Surgeons, try to get them to use our corneal tissue, and sell them the devices used for the surgery, as well as train them HOW to do the surgery. ONE OF US! #nerds I've responded in here long ago, but this needs to be replied to since my career path in the 2-way radio has morphed dramatically over the course of 33-years. When I started as a Ground Radio Repair Communications technician (2841) in the Marines, I wound up working exclusively on the VRC (Vehicular, Radio, Communications, M1A1, Green) series of radios that still operated with tubes. Digital technology was just barely beginning to show up as I left for the civilian sector and has continued to advance every year since. Now the big Motorola Astro stuff I take care of is basically a giant IP network with a tiny RF (radio frequency) element attached on the end. Therefore I've been forced (sometimes kicking & screaming) to become less of a radio guy and more of an IT geek. Routers, switched and hubs, OH MY! Had to take Network Plus and constantly need all kinds of certifications to keep up. I'm pretty good at it now (I kinda have to be), but I constantly joke about how all this damn technology that is supposed to make life easier can also be the bane of my existence. My mantra when things go awry? "This is what happens when IT dweebs have taken over the earth!" Unfortunately, I'm one of them... Popular Post golfertrb
I am a pastor of a small church. I have been in pastoral ministry for almost 30 years in churches small, medium and large. I have about 40 people or so and it's awesome. I have led congregations on several thousand but this is the most effective I feel I've ever been. I was in a very serious car accident in 2014 and the settlement from that means that I have no debt - I own everything free and clear and my life is simple. I had considered going officer during my career, but my particular field would have limited my future career moves had I done so, including no further duty in submarines. In retrospect, my retirement pay would have been better but I never really regretted my decision. Good luck with the rest of your time in service and again, thank you! mr.hicksta 1 Quote Driver: Rogue ST Max (10.5* set at -1 and neutral) -- Mitsubishi Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Fairway: Rogue ST Max 3 wood (16.5*) and Heaven Wood (20*)-- Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Hybrids: Rogue ST Max 5H (23*)--Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Irons: Apex CF19 6-9, PW, AW -- KBS Tour Graphite TGI 70 shafts R +1/2 inch 3* upright Wedges: Edison 53* and 57* KBS PGI 80 Graphite +1/2 inch 2* upright Putter: L.A.B. knightsofnii
Hi everyone! I was in IT for a handful of years. Started with tapes, then mainframe production support, then Problem Manager (central support ctr type stuff) for Prudential. I gave that up, went back to school and now I'm a mechanical engineer for the Army. As a side hussle with a couple friends, I design and build snowboards MattF 1 Quote RADspeed 10.5, Evenflow Riptide CB 6.0s Bio Cell 3/4w, PXV 6.0s; AMP 3h 19deg Aldila RIP R.
