I see everything from neck and back pain to knee/shoulder/and ankle reconstructions. If only my schedule allowed for more golf during the week I had both knees replaced at the same time abut 6 years ago. Stayed in a in patient rehabilitation center connected to the hospital for 8 days after surgery, the PT 3 times a day was brutal, but I actually looked forward to it and worked hard at it. The worst part was the first day when they took my baseline of range of motion and while on my stomach bent me knee toward my back as far as they could. Yowza!! That hurt When, I left there 8 days later, they wheeled me out in a wheelchair, with a walker and a cane they said I could move to probably within a week. I never touched the walker, and carried the cane with me in the car--Just in case. I continued 3 times a week outpatient PT at the same facility. When I walked into my surgeons office without any aids and no limp or noticeable discomfort, 4 weeks later he was smiling ear to ear. He said that was a welcome site and could tell I had followed PT instructions. As he sees so many at the 4 week mark, still using the walker and some even the wheelchair and limping. He said it's obvious they did not put in the work. As you do I'm sure, my PT asked me on the first day what my goal was. I said to be able to play golf pain free. The surgery was on Oct 14 and I graduated PT on Dec 30. My "final exam" was swinging a golf club in their simulator, and after a few 50% swings taking a few 100% swings and being able to do it! Sorry for the long post, but just wanted you and other PT's to get the shout out and recognition you deserve. 5 Quote TSR2 10.0 HZRDUS Red CB 6.0 TSiR2 10.0 Tensei Blue X ink 55g TSR2 16.5 PX Evenflow 5.5 60 g TSi1 20 and 23 degree hybrids Aldila Ascent Shafts R T200 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM8 48F/54/58 D Grinds Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1X Play number

Sorry for the long post, but just wanted you and other PT's to get the shout out and recognition you deserve. After I had my left knee done in 2014, the surgeon came in and said that if I had waited any longer, he would have had to do a bone graft. I have a scar where I had cartilage taken out the old fashioned way in 1971. One of my last rounds of golf before the replacement was the first time that my wife beat me for 18 holes. Getting to my lead side was painful, and I constantly fell back on my right foot. 3 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I have not had anything like this (knock on wood) but my Dad has gone through back, knee, and rotator cuff surgeries.
