Not sure what you're referring.  The cars were parked on the front end of the driving range.  Beyond them is the range, itself.  To the right is #1 on the 3rd 9, hitting away from them.  To the left is #9 of same 9, coming up but there's virtually zero chance even the most wayward ball hit would be a threat.  Behind them is the terrace and club house.  The third 9 (also known is the inside) is the least used 9.  All 3 nines do not return to the clubhouse, so it's typically played as one 18 hole course and the 3rd 9 being a 9 hole course.  On occasion, we will play what is known as the crossover (original layout) which consists of 1-3 then 13-18 of the outside 18 then 1-9 of the inside.

Oh, just reread your question....I thought you asked if players were making the turn.....no, the leaves aren't turning.  Those are flowering.  Crepe Myrtle, I believe.  However, I suspect the leaves will begin to turn not too long from now.
