ballplayer002003
Played a round today. Temp was 44 degrees with a feels like 38. I hit 22% greens in regulation. Not good!!!! I came up short on most greens. That can be attributed to me not having the distances dialed in yet. I didn't feel as if I was swinging particularly well today. Tomorrow is supposed to be 56 so I'll give it another shot then. ballplayer002003
This was a par 3, 156 yards with a right to left wind slightly into our face. I hit a 8 iron and just hit a towering shot that the wind just threw to the left. Missed the green by almost 15 yards. 9 iron from 154 with a large tree in the way. Had to get the ball up in the air pretty quick to get over the tree (even though it looks far away it was about 20yards in front of me)..not a problem with these clubs. Ball hit the green and spun back about 20 feet. Another Par 3, 178 I hit a 6 iron here. Again, ball flight straight up. Not my best shot here as I toed it a bit. The ball still carried approx 170-175 yards but into the bunker on the left. fixyurdivot, Rickp, StrokerAce and 2 others 4 1 Quote Driver: Epic Flash Sub Zero Hzdrs Smoke x flex 70g 3 Wood: 917 w/ Diamana Whiteboard stiff 5 Wood : Epic Flash 18* Hzdrs Smoke stiff 4 Hybrid: TSi3 Hzdrs Smoke X flex Irons: 5-7 Apex forged 19 w/ Modus 120 X 9-A Apex Pro 19 w/ Modus 120 X Wedges: MD5 52&56 Jaws Dynamic Gold wedge flex Putter: Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 34"

GregB135
Got another update on the shipment (Thanks Rob!) There was one slight delay on shipping my test set due to Ping needing to back order the shafts I was fit into. The latest update from Rob was one of the shafts arrived with a blemish. Apparently enough of one that Ping did not want to use the blemished shaft and needed to wait for a reordered shaft to arrive before they could complete the set. Kudos to Ping quality control and customer service that they were not willing to send out an imperfect product, even on a comp deal. As Rob put it, the 'blue and white' truck should be arriving some time early this week. (one actually did a drive-by tease while I was waiting in the driveway for a pickup to the golf course yesterday) As another note, the Mizunos are apparently angry for being left in the garage for over a year whilst I experimented with the Hogans, and are now fighting for their lives with some enthusiasm. 9 GIRs, 3 birdies, and 10 par or betters in my round yesterday en-route to a season best 81 spoiled only by the 2 penalty quad bogey on the 10th hole. sirchunksalot, edingc, Golfspy_CG2 and 2 others 5 Quote Driver: 311XF Gen5, Tensei CK Pro Orange, S flex Fariway: 311XF Gen6 3-Wood, Tensei Blue 55g R flex Hybrid: 211, 3H Project X Evenflow H, 80g, 5.5 TSR2 4H, Tensei Blue R (Forum Tester) Irons: T200 2023, Tensei Blue R (Forum Tester), 5-GW Wedges: CBX2 Zipcore 52*, 56* Project X Catalyst Spinner Graphite Shaft Putter: ER2 Murdered Out

StrokerAce
I've definitely been in the rough and haven't had any issues. The sole design is such that it allows you to get down and through the ball in thicker grass and the face is pretty hot from heel to toe so if you don't catch it in the middle you're still going to get a good result and not lose much distance. sirchunksalot, ballplayer002003, GregB135 and 1 other 4 Quote Driver- Cobra Aerojet LS Woods- Cobra LTD 3w 15*, 5W 19*, F9 24* Irons- XXIO X (6-A) Wedges- Callaway Jaws Raw (54/58) Putter- Bettinardi BB56 Ball- Maxfli Tour X Buggy- Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote Electric Caddy Bag- Motocaddy Dry-Series Proudly testing for 2024:

Rickp
Quick question, where did the ball land as opposed to how much rollout did you get?Unfortunately there’s a long answer but I’ll try to keep it simple. On this hole I play the drive on purpose in the left rough to take the water in front and all along the right side of green out of play. Doing this I’m hitting the iron out of light/medium Bermuda rough and trying to hit left front of green and roll ball somewhere near pin, Worked today. 2 of the foursome ended up in the water from the right side of the fareway.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy ballplayer002003, gregh729 and sirchunksalot 3 Quote Rick Left Hand, Driver; PXG 0311XF Cypher 50 gr Senior 5 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 7 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 5 hybrid; Cally Steelhead, Hazardous R2 Irons; Mizuno JPX 923HM 7-GW Recoil 460 F2 Wedges; Titleist S9 54*, Mizuno SW 56* Putter; Waaay too many to list
