Sanderson Farms

It's seems really quiet on the forum right now.  But I see why.  You're all glued to the Sanderson (Chicken) Farms Championship .  Personally I like seeing the likes of Snedeker, Z.J., Hoffman, and Cink battling it off with the freshman straight out of the Korn Ferry Tour. Heck, even Boo made an appearance though it looks like he will miss the cut.  Several of the newcomers are playing well and among the leaders.  Richy Werenski continues to impress.  He seems to have the right mental attitude for this game.

This tournament is the closest PGA event to me, just an hour-and-a-half away, but I can’t go. The Pro at our Public course even offered me an all-access pass for $50! Ugh.

You’re right. It’s REALLY quiet around here.

It has been quiet of late - we seem to have these lulls every year. The season is ending, football has started, there’s not much going on testing wise.

It picks up in late fall early winter as guys want to talk about the game they’re missing. Then it dies back down as cabin fever sets in and amps up once spring play and testing starts.

I enjoy these early season tournaments but I’m busy at work this weekend (funeral today - tomorrow is obvious) and have been playing on Sunday afternoons because several very good area courses have specials that make them cheaper than playing at my club
