Sdtdnd
Does TM have a set cycle they go by for putting out a new driver? My entire bag was stolen out of my garage and am building a new set piece by piece but I don’t want to buy another M5 if something new will be coming out in January. PGA show is when we would see it right?
RickyBobby_PR
The new stuff will be announced in January probably right before the pga show and be ready for order shortly after Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
Sdtdnd
So it is this year? M7 ? Or whatever they are calling it. I actually wonder how much more can they do? How do you improve on something so great that is pushing the limits already. But then again Cameron Champ driving the ball 369 yards makes you think how far can this go. I remember when John broke 300 and we thought a miracle had happened.
RickyBobby_PR
Not 2019 but 2020. TM does yearly releases on most of their stuff. Rumor is the m family is going away. Year to year it’s hard to make significant improvements. It’s the 4-5 year timeframe when the biggest leaps. btw champ has a ping not Tm. Sdtdnd
New drivers are called Sim , Sim max and Sim draw. Wonder what Sim means? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
FrogginBullfish
First thought with TM is its something like Speed Injection Molded or something along those lines.Second thought is TM is following in Callaway's footsteps and using machine learning computer simulations to design the driver heads.New drivers are called Sim , Sim max and Sim draw. txgolfjunkie
Great! That means there will be price drops on the M5 in the near future...both in retail and secondary markets.
