sixcat
Vontaze Burfict should be thankful he doesn't play in Korea! silver & black and fixyurdivot 1
sixcat
Reading through several Twitter comments from Korn Ferry Tour players who have been paired with Kim in recent years. Seems the guy has quite the reputation for being an ass. Not well liked is an understatement. The Burfict comment was a joke. Maybe it wasn’t so far removed from accuracy. This may be a cumulative thing with Kim. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
GB13
Definitely don’t condone his actions, but 3 years seems a little harsh. Personally, I’d think a month or two seems much more applicable. silver & black 1 Quote Wilson Staff C300 9.0* Fujikura Pro 58 stiff Callaway Rogue 3W Mitsubishi Diamana D+ LTD 80 stiff Mizuno MP-18 MMC FLI-HI 2 iron UST Mamiya Recoil 95 stiff Ping I200's 4-W Aerotech Steelfiber I110 CW stiff Ping Glide 52* and 58* stiff Bettinardi Studio Stock #38 Armlock
revkev
They are discussing this on Morning Drive. You would have to hope he had a history that included significant violations that merited this.According to Robert Dameron this would only be a fineable offense in a PGA Tour event. Effectively this sent the guy into exile - he will have to move to another country to play.It sure doesn’t seem on the surface that the punishment fit the crime even if the guy is habitually a jerk. I’d need to know a lot more to agree with this decision. fixyurdivot
He needs to spend some time with this guy and learn the subtle techniques to passive-aggressive fan control . At the 2015 US Open (Chambers Bay), I watched Poult's flip off a fan in the bleachers who yelled out "nice shot Poulter" as he walked onto the 17th green (Saturdays round). His ball had hit the green but then rolled into the front bunker... with nearly the entire crowd urging it along . He turned to the bleachers and adjusted his visor - that no one caught that in a photo and pasted it all over the interwebz is amazing. I was in said bleachers and clearly saw the response - which drew some boos and grumbles. Yeah, banned for 3 years seems a wee bit harsh by US pro sport standards. That sign language is used so frequently here, it's odd the media still feels the need to blackout the offending digit.
