RickyBobby_PR
Xxio has had a premium ball on the market for several years. options aren’t bad. What/who does it hurt that another high premium ball is on the market? Honma has/had one as well. It’s don’t like, want, need or can’t afford a high end car, watch, suit, house do you buy it? Probably not. Who cares if another high end ball or a dozen high end balls come out. No one is forced to buy them. Xxio is a high end brand so it would make sense their ball is considered high end. They are one of if not the top brands in Asian market and have been that way for a number of years russtopherb 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

russtopherb
I always get confused when people are concerned that there's too many choices. We're all different. We have different budgets, different swings, different courses that we play on, different likes/dislikes, different ways of acquiring new gear... another option that may be right up someone's alley isn't a bad thing. No one ever complains when Toyota comes out with another car model, or upgrades a package on an existing model. There’s a market for Ferrari’s and another for sedans. Neither of those consumers get mad when rolls Royce or Bentley have a new product. tony@CIC 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

ED13
The more premium golf balls the better. More choices mean a better chance to find a ball that works for you. For those that don’t want to pay the premium price, if there are too many premium balls on the market some of them may end up on discount at a price point you are happy with. fozcycle 1 Quote Driver - Ping G410 Woods - Callaway Rogue 5 wood Hybrid - Titleist TS2 21 degree Irons - Taylormade P790 5-PW Wedges - Taylormade MG3 50, 54, 58, SM9 60 Putter - Mizuno Black Carbon BC3

tony@CIC
I watched the video and it was interesting that a part of testing a new ball was to cut it open. Good work MGS.Never thought of doing that before I read the test. I've since cut up enough 'found' balls to wear out my pvc cutter. Those cheaper balls ...oh my ... Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy No, I'm holding out for the soon to be released Ping-Flite . I'm fine with a growing market and selection of balls; premium, tour, or otherwise. If nothing else, it usually benefits we consumers at the checkout counter . It's only been recently (since joining MGS) that I've started paying attention to ball selection and narrowing down what I play. I really hadn't noticed any significant differences playing the popular mid to upper end balls - but now starting to see some minor differences. What I'd love to know is the background on all these premium balls. Watching the interview with Adam and Dick Snell, it sounds like many come from the same handful of overseas factories. If that's the case, how significant a difference is there between them. These may very well be made at the same facility as Homna's? You have to find out who is doing the design or if the brand is just buying a generic design from the factory and rebranding it. I did zero in on just part of your statement. I do find it a little relevant though. I see confusion every day though. I work in golf retail and it is crazy the number of people that come in with no idea what golf ball is what. I do agree, I like options.
