revkev
Penny had surgery at the Shriners hospital in Tampa once! I actually had a question about the new cut rules. Under the old rules there would be a second it after the Saturday round of too many guys qualified. Is that still the case. There are still 76 in the field despite the cut coming at low 60’s and ties. fixyurdivot
Despite the rather odd looking hats, Shriners Hospital has been doing amazing work for children for decades - seriously changing the outlook for many patients and their families. I watch this event most years and love the Shriners commercials. I don't know the answer to your question. fixyurdivot
I'm rooting for Webb but Kevin Na is putting on a putting demonstration I haven't seen since that guy in 2015, umm, what was his name... oh yeah, Jordan Speith. Also, is it just me or has Patrick Cantlay picked up his playing speed? A year ago he was the bane of the tour (Mr. Waggle's) but he seems much less so now. fixyurdivot
I'm trying to keep up but my wife haas "Love It or List It" on TV... and I'm too comfortable to head for the den . With Webb not getting it done, I'm hoping Kevin can as I'm not a Cantlay fan. fixyurdivot
I really love Kevin Na's intensity... he's a hoot to watch when he gets it crankin . I definitely think Tiger needs to consider him. Not only is his game great but I bet he is a great team player. FrogginBullfish
Saw an article earlier that said Bryson DeChambeau just became the first player on the PGA Tour ever to utilize a full bag of clubs, including putter, installed with graphite shafts at this event. On another note, he's also promised to be a much stronger and bulkier Bryson come 2020 as he's planning on significantly ramping up his strength training regimen over the next few months.Sent from my Pixel 2 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Quote DRIVER PXG 0811XF GEN4 (10.5°) FAIRWAY WOODS PXG 0341XF GEN4 (16°) HYBRIDS PXG 0317XF GEN4 (19°), PXG 0317X GEN4 (22°) IRONS PXG 0311T GEN3 (5 - 9) WEDGES TAYLORMADE MG3 (45°, 50°, 55° TW Grind, 60° TW Grind) PUTTER PXG BATTLE READY ONE & DONE

Kenny B
I heard today that Kevin Na might be the only winner on tour that had negative strokes-gained tee to green against the field. I guess record putting makes up for it. I also heard that Tony Finau was -9 yesterday and was ranked last in strokes-gained putting. So I guess putting doesn't matter. Well... now I'm confused!!! Ranking 90th in all striking or putting doesn’t necessarily stink so long as you have a strength category to offset it.
