fixyurdivot
OK all, is this a big enough group of names (or name) to get your tour events motor running? Sounds like a typhoon has rolled into the area and may delay this event for an extended period. I'm rooting for Hideki as it seems fitting the first name etched into the mantle hardware be the hometown favorite. El Tigre showing some game though and a rare (of recent years) low opening round. FrogginBullfish
Would be cool to see Hideki win, but Tiger getting #82 would be pretty cool too.Nice first round from Tiger as well. Opened with 3 straight bogeys. Went 9 under through the last 15 holes. Solid turnaround lol.Interesting course with the two greens per hole, though I've read it's quite common in Japan. From what I've read, the courses have greens for warm climates and cold climates. Some use different grasses for each climate, but I don't think this course is using different grasses.Sent from my Pixel 2 using MyGolfSpy mobile app DRIVER PXG 0811XF GEN4 (10.5°) FAIRWAY WOODS PXG 0341XF GEN4 (16°) HYBRIDS PXG 0317XF GEN4 (19°), PXG 0317X GEN4 (22°) IRONS PXG 0311T GEN3 (5 - 9) WEDGES TAYLORMADE MG3 (45°, 50°, 55° TW Grind, 60° TW Grind) PUTTER PXG BATTLE READY ONE & DONE

FrogginBullfish
Haha yeah 82 is not a score any pro wants to record. It's kind of an arbitrary number for Snead anyway. Depending on who you ask, Tiger has already passed Snead, but in terms of official wins recognized by the PGA Tour he's one short. What makes it weird is that Tiger's not getting some of the same type of wins Sam got credit for in his 82. If Tiger did, then he's already long passed him.I believe Snead had 84 at one point but it was reduced to 81, but then they gave him one back. It's kind of a strange situation. ahh thanks- I couldn't get 82 to fit anywhere on a golf course scoringSent from my Pixel 2 using MyGolfSpy mobile app DRIVER PXG 0811XF GEN4 (10.5°) FAIRWAY WOODS PXG 0341XF GEN4 (16°) HYBRIDS PXG 0317XF GEN4 (19°), PXG 0317X GEN4 (22°) IRONS PXG 0311T GEN3 (5 - 9) WEDGES TAYLORMADE MG3 (45°, 50°, 55° TW Grind, 60° TW Grind) PUTTER PXG BATTLE READY ONE & DONE
FrogginBullfish
Yeah, plan is to get at least 27 holes in for an early finish on Monday.Tiger has looked sharp thus far. Will have to see how playing 27 today affects him. He mentioned ahead of the Skins Match that he'd have gotten the knee surgery last year if he hadn't won the Tour Championship so I think he'll be fine.I like Tiger to win by at least 3 over Woodland.
