I like everything about the way that club looks other than that enormous number on the sole! I know I wont see it, but it is almost like they are saying I am either blind or too stupid to see the number in a normal font size. Don't know why, but that bothers me a lot!

It looks OK, but knowing TM it is probably an inch too long. Not sure about the top graphics. Looks a bit like if you leave it outside for any length of time, you may have honey for your tea.

This club is just like all of the other burners. Too long and too light for me. Also, TM seems to be using a really cheap grip. weird.

The address position looks fine in the pics so as long as it performs ... I'm OK with it, doesn't look too elongated. But will just have to wait n see how it plays before I give any other opinions.

I really liked the 2007 burner 3 wood. A bit too long in the shaft for me.

Many didn't like the top graphics on that one, but I like it better than these...

The grips are not cheap. They are the new Winn Grips made for Taylormade. They are different than what most are used to.

That grip may cost $15 or more, I know that I would never buy one. It just feels like a very inexpensive grip. I'm sure that is is super light and increases clubhead speed by 1-2 mph, But I do not like the feel. jmHo.

So is it wrong to like a heavier feel in a driver. That is the greatest thing about my 5000 for me. It feels like I am swinging something significant.

Maybe I need the heavy putter driver.

After some further research, I have found out that the grip installed on these clubs from the factory weighs 28.5g. A typical grip weighs somewhere in the 50g range. so if you ever regrip one of these, the swingweight will be all messed up.The swingweight on these FW woods comes in at D8 now, so putting on a heavier grip will bring the SW back into a more normal range, but still on what most people would consider "heavy".

We have been over this. It is harder to throw a heavier club as far as a lighter one...
