Although cost is a big consideration, I voted "Other". Even with more cost-effective, fairly accurate options available, there is no place in my house where I can make a full swing.

I voted other on the launch monitor because my wife won't let me get one.  I should have never told her I'd be around more if we had one.

I voted accuracy. Want to practice short game/wedge play and want the accuracy to be close to perfect. From messing around with a couple of these accuracy seems questionable...at least indoors.

I voted other due to the lack of availability here in NZ. Also I have no room at home 😭

I chose other, while mostly cost, I don’t have any space to make good full swings, therefore a LM would be completely wasted on me.

I chose accuracy.  We have a garage with ceilings plenty high to make a decent swing.  But after hearing Harry say that we should wait a year or two, we'll keep going to TFT to use the Trackman.  The kids in programs (like my daughter) get 30 minutes a week for free, and they generally don't charge coaches.  But I'd love to be able to set up a practice bay in the garage for my daughter (oh, and me).

Please, please, please for the love of god, do not buy an Optishot.  Just take $300 and light it on fire.  It'll be more satisfying.  Trust me on this.

Honestly it would have worked out better if I just got it, set it up and said surprise.

I voted accuracy. I am just not convinced the numbers are real yet. Especially when I have access to a Foresight GCquad.

I can only use it inside so one of these mini launch monitors would be great for practice. I could have also chose other because as much as I want one. I am not really sure I need one.

I voted other.

A combination mainly of cost and accuracy for me, but also space.

If i could get skytrak, or close to it, functionality at around £500 or so I would most likely have bought one.  Aside from features and accuracy the doppler ones all need several feet of ball flight, which does limit my usage options a bit too.

Edit...  unless it's accurate enough for short game distance practice, and cheap enough for me to accept it's limits, for me to use it for meaningful practice i would want some form of shot direction and shape indication too.   Otherwise i would use it to get rough club distances then just get frustrated that was all i could do with it.

I also voted "other". Several years ago I took a serious look at buying an expensive setup/LM (Trackman, GC, Flightscope, etc.). I looked at all the big boys. Expensive... and spending a large amount on a toy like that was the deal killer. I realized that after a very short period of time the "fun" would wear off and it would sit idle mostly. I'm also not really a huge fan of LM anyway. Sure they're cool and all that but for a person like me it'd only be a fun toy. For a while. I couldn't monetize it. So, in the end I came to my senses and pulled the plug. The other types of pocket sized LM that are actually affordable don't interest me either. I actually could care less what the "numbers" say on these devices. I play and have played golf most of my life. Pretty much everything I need to know - I can see and feel out on the course.
