Srixon 2020

Bummed to find out from the rep here that Srixon won’t have their release in 2020 until September. Sheesh. I was hoping to go the the Spring Demo Day in Shreveport and try out the new irons like I did when the 546/745 first came-out years ago.

Dang!!!

Sept was the release date for the 85 series and I think the 65 as well.   So sounds like they are sticking to it.

Yep.  I’ve never played anything in the 85s outside of demo days, but I still prefer my 745s over my 965s.  The top line is a hair thicker, but the frame the ball so well and feel so dang awesome.  I just reshafted my 965s with some KBS Tours, just gotta get the grips on.  Hopefully the shaft change will get me what I want.

Yup confirmed with our rep for the DC area a few weeks back. This summer/fall is the Cleveland launch and next summer will be the Srixon stuff.

Does anyone know what they are working on... I really want the 785 irons but if they release something better I will be pissed.  A black 785 would be amazing.  September is a long time to wait.

If they hold true to what they have done then it will be a full lineup of 2-3 iron sets, hybrid, utility iron, woods and driver.

with the z forged releasing this past February those would be a feb 2021 release

If you want the 785 then get them. They are a great iron

Found out I have to stay on the line to find out more in September.  🙃

Right now I play Srixon balls (Q Star Tour), but I'm looking at possibly adding Srixon irons.  Granted, I'm just now entering year 2 of my career as a golfer, but Srixon irons just look beautiful and I hear all the time about how they are underrated in terms of performance.

the Z-forged play much like a GI club to me.....super super easy to hit and they are amazing out of the rough.

They look really nice and often use them as warmup clubs at MGS. Shots can be great or horrible....not GI for me. 785s are enough for my game.

Some of the top irons out in my opinion. Love hitting them in most wanted testing. I liked them so much I bought a set for myself. If you don’t want to invest in a new set the older 5 series are what I would look for.

It would be hard to find too many people equating hitting the z forged like hitting a gi. The z7x5 lines have been really good and forgiving for their size and I wouldn’t equate those to like hitting a gi either

Agree. I personally put srixon in more of a players category even the 5 series. They just do something right with their irons and they seem to be playable by most players.

They do a great job at iron among and the 5 series for its size they hide it very well at address. It’s an iron brand that’s always on my mind of having a set of.  There’s day I wish I kept the 765s I had

Ha, 785s seem to play like blades for me.  Good hits are so money, mishit lose 20 yards or more.  I think mine are broken.
