theebdk
It is that time of year again in the northeast, the cold weather has begun. But unfortunately I could only find one of my Footjoy WinterSof golf gloves so I need to buy a new winter glove. Considering all gloves before I make the purchase and would love your suggestions. I also noticed that Footjoy came out with a new StaSof for Winter and was curious if anyone has tried it yet.
tony@CIC
I use FJ rain gloves, I have their winter gloves but the elastic wrist band is too tight for me also they're a bit bulky. My golfing partner wears the rain gloves but also has extra large mittens he puts on when not hitting the ball. I'm going to try that solution. cnosil 1 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300
cnosil
Winter gloves are just too bulky, I golf without a glove unless it is really humid so I just use cart gloves and take them off to hit a shot. tony@CIC, Jim418 and Kenny B 3 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
Shankster
I played with some non golf gloves. They are thin Blackdiamond ski gloves. Super thin liners really. I normally don’t use a glove but had zero issues with them. Hard saying how long they’d last.https://www.backcountry.com/black-diamond-lightweight-screentap-liner-glove?CMP_SKU=BLD00KB&MER=0406&skid=BLD00KB-BK-L&mr:trackingCode=CFCD011E-5492-E611-80FA-005056944E17&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=m&mr:adType=plaonline&iv_=__iv_p_1_g_20469783517_c_92885922157_w_aud-483074737321:pla-386032871436_n_g_d_m_v__l__t__r_1o1_x_pla_y_7811_f_online_o_BLD00KB-BK-L_z_US_i_en_j_386032871436_s__e__h_9007702_ii__vi__&CMP_ID=PLA_GMm001&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=PLA&k_clickid=_k_Cj0KCQiAoIPvBRDgARIsAHsCw08QvAMs8pp9QvObAmXLhNLzN1K795DI1yN3GIklv-iWibGHgESxPcAaAhxkEALw_wcB_k_&rmatt=tsid:1042790%7Ccid:292652677%7Cagid:20469783517%7Ctid:aud-483074737321:pla-386032871436%7Ccrid:92885922157%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:15473365525867391247%7Cdvc:m%7Cadp:1o1%7Cmt:%7Cloc:9007702&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoIPvBRDgARIsAHsCw08QvAMs8pp9QvObAmXLhNLzN1K795DI1yN3GIklv-iWibGHgESxPcAaAhxkEALw_wcB HardcoreLooper and cnosil
GimmeAnother1
I bought the winter and the rain. I have only used the winter and have had no problem with it. Kind of like those velvet football player gloves. Work fine when your cold and come in handy. :)
TwoCoatsOfWax
I use these. They have grip pads on the palms and are a nice stretchy material that's snug but very comfortable. I usually use a regular golf glove plus one of these but sometimes use both. I don't play in winter weather per se, but I do go out in cooler spring/fall weather (down into the 40s). They make a great pair of everyday gloves off the golf course too.

Maybe some with leather palms would be better for long term use. tony@CIC
pulledabill
I got a pair of a FJ winter rain gloves but dont love them as I tend to get too strong in the right hand and start pulling the ball. A few guys I play with have clic gear mittens on their carts and they love them so Im going that route.. I don't use gloves either. When I ride I use Titleist cart mittens with hand warmers, and I have Ultimittens that attach to my push cart when I walk. Hand warmers are a must! RI_Redneck
I've been using the FJ Wintersoft for years. I get a pair around the first of October and wear them for driving too. It helps me get used to having them on and playing is a lot easier then. I go through one pair each year. BT
