Looking like being a fantastic last day. Hoping the Aussie fans keep the pressure on but also keep it nice! There should not be abuse, but nothing wrong with good spirited sledging.

Except for any abuse aimed at Reed. Then its all good.

Honestly I am surprised aussie border security let that dude in. Such a toss

At first I thought this was just a little stir up to bring some excitement to the Cup...

But it’s just him being a child, along with his caddie.

Wow, Rickie and JT blowing a 5 up after 10 lead. Still 1 up going into 18 but wow they've really let Ancer and Leishman back into the match.

I’m curious as to why Reed is hated and JT beloved. I honestly don’t see the difference - other than the caught cheating incident. (And that was recent)

JT has had fans kicked out of tournaments for cheering against him. To the best of my knowledge Reed has never done that. Both are very streaky but frankly JT doesn’t impress me as a pleasant guy to be around when things aren’t going his way. Reed is consistent edgy win, loose or draw.

I’m just not that big a JT fan. Give me the field any day.

I thought Reed handled himself pretty well given the crowd. Obviously his Caddie didn't but then one can just take so much.

Reed and Simpson was a interesting combination. It'd be interesting to hear from Tiger why he paired the two of them together. Neither one of them putted well. Hopefully both play better tonight in the singles matches

JT is completely within his rights as a player, as would Reed be, to have any fan being disrespectful removed. Reed doesn't because he knows the media blowout from him doing it would be ridiculous.

Reed's had a checkered past his entire career dating back to his college career. Whether it's allegations of cheating back then, or switching colleges, or distancing himself from his parents -- which I think is beyond unfair to criticize him for, or calling himself a Top 5 player in the world without really doing anything on tour, to the most recent incidents this year and at last year's Ryder Cup, Reed's just rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. It also means anything he does is magnified to a much greater degree. I have to agree with Rory's assessment following the incident at the Hero last week that it would be largely a non-story if it had been anyone else, but it was Reed so it was a big deal.

JT doesn't have a tumultuous history and despite having some rude fans removed from events he's largely a guy who's well liked by both other players and fans. Reed keeps to himself for the most part. There aren't many on Tour who would call themselves close to Reed. Some, like Tiger, have decent relationships with him, but he's largely a loner out there.

I'd agree. He has enough experience dealing with jeering crowds but there's always going to be a line for anyone. His caddie's line was obviously crossed yesterday, which doesn't excuse the violent response though, but I think we all can understand losing one's composure when faced with constant negative comments towards one's character.

I thought Reed handled himself pretty well given the crowd. Obviously his Caddie didn't but then one can just take so much.

Unfortunately when your in the Public Eye you have to take the crap. Security seemed to be lax and I would have thought Reed should have a little extra security when he s a target.
Didn’t get the pairing either unless Tiger has a good reason.

Looks like DJ put his Spider in timeout today. I’ll be interested to see how he rolls the potato under pressure with a blade.

4 up through 4 for Reed with extra security on the course with his pairing. A fan's already been warned.

It’s amazing how Alcohol can make people smarter & braver
Additional Security good idea, no one needs an ugly situation.
