Shankster
I will say. Yesterday was far more exciting than any football game I watched all year.Wish they would have tied though. USA is becoming the Patriots/Crimson Tide of golf... in this one anyways. Plus I like Ernie, and most of the International Team.Besides the whole Reed thing, this was more enjoyable to watch than the last Ryder Cup. tony@CIC
FrogginBullfish
This was the first time since 2009 that the US side won a singles session at the Presidents Cup.To be fair, though, they hadn't needed to until this year's competition. The US dominance of this event really comes down to foursomes. Golf Channel showed a graphic yesterday that the US team has outscored the Internationals by I believe 32 points in foursomes in the history of the Presidents Cup. That's a lead of a full Cup's worth of points and some change in the toughest format. US are always strong in the singles for this and the RC. Fourball and foursomes they are pretty poor at but it's not something you can (or they want to) practice at anytime.Sent from my Pixel 2 using MyGolfSpy mobile app tony@CIC 1 Quote DRIVER PXG 0811XF GEN4 (10.5°) FAIRWAY WOODS PXG 0341XF GEN4 (16°) HYBRIDS PXG 0317XF GEN4 (19°), PXG 0317X GEN4 (22°) IRONS PXG 0311T GEN3 (5 - 9) WEDGES TAYLORMADE MG3 (45°, 50°, 55° TW Grind, 60° TW Grind) PUTTER PXG BATTLE READY ONE & DONE

Kenny B
Nice comeback. I like Ernie, but I thought Ernie was pretty cocky during his interview after Day 3 when he told Tiger that the fans were similar in NY... get over it. He also smirked when Tiger said that he was optimistic of a comeback. I think it pi$$ed off Tiger. Except for a few great putts by a few of the US players during the week, I thought the US team putted extremely poor. They seemed confused by the line and had the speed wrong a lot. Putting was better in the singles, but even then... some poor putts by Kuch, Rickie, Webb, Finau, and Thomas. Lots of 3-jacks. revkev
Great set of matches through really! Thoroughly enjoyed the event - course was perfect, great play, tight and on at the right time for me to watch.@frogginbullish I didn’t have time to get in on your reply to my post. We beat the JT thing up a couple of years ago. I disagree that a fan cheering for a ball to go in a bunker or water or OB or anywhere really after the shot has been hit should be removed. I wouldn’t do it personally but so long as there’s no obscenities included it’s ridiculous that a fan was removed for it - exactly why golf struggles to keep its fans and players. But to each his own - I realize JT is popular and Reed is not - if both were at the top of a leader board I would root for Reed. I also realize there are people who think that fans should not root against a player - at least not out loud. I disagree with them as well. FrogginBullfish
Oh, I agree. I'm not saying JT should have had that fan removed, but he was completely within his rights to do so.
