Best Electric Garden Tillers

So you wish to buy a tiller for your small garden, and to do this, you want to get some information beforehand in order to avoid wasting your money. Here, we will tell you which 3 electric garden tillers are currently the best of products on the market.

❃ First, what is an electric garden tiller? It is basically just like a normal tiller, which tills up soil, breaks apart clods of dirt, and turns it all over so that plants can have a nutrient-rich bed to be planted in. An electric garden tiller, on the other hand, is a mechanized product which utilizes electricity to do the same job but easier and faster.

1. Sun Joe TJ603E 16-Inch 12-Amp Electric Tiller and Cultivator

❃ At the top of the list, we have the Sun Joe TJ603E Electric Tiller. This tool generates 12 amps of environmental-friendly power through electricity in order to control 6 sturdy, durable steel tines, helping you to work on rough ground mixed with annoying rocks, pebbles, tough weeds, and many other headache-inducing elements. Having that much power is more than can be said for most electric tillers on the market.

❃ The tool is also armed with rear wheels, making it easy to use or transport in your garden.

❃ Due to the fact that it utilizes electrical power to work, you don't need to worry about maintenance like you would with other gas-powered garden tillers. Just plug it in, and you’ll be ready to go.

❃ Something that you need to keep in mind is your cord; you cannot get anywhere far unless you have a long cord. You must be careful so that your tool is not run over the cord or entangled in it; you will have a lot of problems if that happens.

2. Earthwise TC70001 11-Inch 8.5-Amp Corded Electric Tiller/Cultivator

❃ Next, we have the Earthwise TC70001 Electric Tiller/Cultivator. Although it features a power of only 8.5 amps, it is still strong enough to work on rough ground, compared to the Sun Joe.

❃ Instead of 6 steel tines, the Earthwise is equipped with 4 tough steel tines that can ensure its durability.

❃ Even though its performance is almost on par with the Sun Joe, there is one aspect of it that is better than the Sun Joe: the weight. Yes, the Earthwise is only 23 pounds, which is pretty light compared to the 27 pounds of the Sun Joe. With the addition of an ergonomic and soft handle, you can use it comfortably for a long time.

❃ Similar to other electric tillers, the Earthwise is also very easy to use and easy to maintain. With just a push of a button, you can use it right away; no need to worry about gas and oil.

❃ The same disadvantages can be said about the Earthwise as pointed out for the Sun Joe: you have to be careful around the cord, as tripping over or entangling with it do not make for pretty pictures.

3. BLACK+DECKER LGC120 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Garden Cultivator/Tiller

❃ Occupying the 3rd place on our list is the BLACK+DECKER LGC120 Cordless Garden Cultivator/Tiller. Did you notice “cordless” in the name? Yes, this tool uses a 20-volt MAX lithium-ion battery as a power source, allowing you to work the ground up to 325 square feet per charge.

❃ By using a battery, you can bring it anywhere without minding the cord; just remember to charge it frequently to avoid running out of power mid-work.

❃ Even though it is equipped with a battery, the battery is designed with 50% less weight, which means the overall weight of the BLACK+DECKER LGC120 is only around 11.73 pounds – much lighter than the other two.

❃ The tool's two steel tines are designed as counter-oscillating blades, preventing roots and weeds from tangling each other.

❃ Besides the good stuff, the BLACK+DECKER LGC120 also has its drawbacks too. For instance, the LGC120 is an electric tiller, but also not really, as you cannot till tough rock, annoying clods of dirt, long weeds, and all of the other similar stuff within the hard ground. The only surface you can work on is pre-prepared soil. Another drawback is the battery life; it will drain very quickly, so you might consider buying a second one as a spare.

Conclusion

❃ Whenever you need to work on your small to medium garden, you can always count on these best products. While an electric garden tiller has some minor problems, it is still a perfect tool for your garden. You can buy any of these as an Amazon product, and be sure to check the 3lIrYI9.gif TOP product evaluated on TheKingLive.com from many buyers so that you can consider their experiences and information before buying.

Now that it's winter and we are not keeping a handicap until March, I really need to dig out this bag again and play my Macgregor/SCOR combo irons.  Not sure if I can still hit them!!

LOVE IT MAN!!!!  See you have one of the MGS bag tags too. Adam sent me one a few years back---- LOL darn near got kicked off WRX because I posted a pic one night of my Muirfields in my Titleist Mini Staff bag and the MGS tag was right there. They are ultra sensitive about MGS over there in fact the word MGS or My Golf Spy is censored by their software no joke.
