Another clarification... my apologies.  Is the bid amount much like eBay (i.e., you bid $100 and the next highest bidder was $60, so you win at $61 (or whatever the minimum bid increment is)?  Thanks

No fix I believe you bet $100 and next highest bidder is $60 you bought him for $100.

This was a special circumstance. A team's top 3 draft picks were dropped so we stepped in to ensure it wasn't a rookie mistake. All this action did was hold the players on waivers a little bit longer until we got to confirm with the owner. 

Turns out, it was a rookie mistake so we undid the transactions. As commissioners, we've gotta look out for everyone's best interest, even the rookies

In other news, Fantrax made a subtle change: there's a new column called "own" for players that shows how many copies of a given player are owned. Very useful. Also, there was a bug in the ownership tab on player cards that only showed one owner, not all. That's fixed too. Should make hunting for trades a little easier now.

Yes, most definitely. Rosters still have a max of 8 players but you can trade 8 for 1 if you can work the deal and don't mind dropping the rest of your team. Just make sure that duplicate players don't end up on a team.

it is NOT like ebay; your bid is what you pay.  If you bid 200 and someone else bids 1, you win with a price of 200.

there is a strategy to FAAB bidding

I had frozen all 3 of the players he had dropped, but one kept giving me an error message. It did change the player's status however though.

Being a rookie myself I’m glad that the mistake was fixed! I’m sure someone would have bid more than the $160 I did for cantlay anyhoo!

There is a Public Poll in Fantrax  asking about the best all time golf movie.  Just wondering if I'm the only one who has seen "Seven Days in Utopia" of am I the only person that liked it?   And yes, they are all good movies.

I've seen it and liked it, but would have to agree on Caddyshack.

The Squeeze is also a good B list golf movie.

We added a waiver run for Thursdays too. Made it (and all others) process at 1am instead of 5 to cover for tournaments like The Open that start earlier.

Does this mean people on your team have made these cuts this year?  If so, is this added to our overall score?

That will show basically how many players they have in the tourney until the cut has been actually made. It was that way last year.

I've not as of yet. I'm still looking though. This may be something that Fantrax will have to adjust. I'm fairly certain that we are the only league of our kind.

I think I found it. 

Standings -> Season stats -> By Period -> choose the tourney. 

That sorts most points to least for the tourney at hand. Pretty cool. And shows points behind leader.

I'm not sure if its been mentioned yet or not but the scores showing right now are for all your players playing right now added together, not just the top four. @GolfSpy STUDque Are you guys aware thats happening? 

Everyone else: The standings you are seeing currently and the live scoring is wrong so just keep that in mind for now.. 

Correction: The standings tab is accurately reflecting only 4 players. The Live Scoring section does not.

Yes, we're aware.  So is Fantrax.  Awaiting a response.

They're releasing a new "Live Scoring" soon so this may come out in the wash anyway.  Stay tuned.
