Sqairz Shoes

Duffer_E

Recommended Posts

Has anybody heard of and/or tried out Sqairz shoes? They are marketed as a "better" golf shoe, and on their website, they do seem to have made some innovations.

I would love to see them be a part of MGS "Best Spiked Shoe 2020".

I took a look. I'm not a fan of square toe shoes but other than that they're probably fine I'd imagine. The company did "go there" and claim accuracy, maximum swing speed and.... distance! if you wear their shoes. Kind of doubt that so why claim it. But if you're having any reservations about buying a pair of these remember this; they're endorsed by the International Association of Golf Administrators. 😋

So I guess we'll see them on Tour (worn by the grounds crew)?

I bought some recently and have worn them a few times.  They are definitely the most comfortable golf shoe I've owned.  I was initially not sure if the square toe would look good, but they look and feel great.

These look very interesting. I owned a pair of Nike SP-8 Tiger Woods shoes from 2006.  They had a square row. Some tapered toes do constrict the leading foot during the downswing and follow through of the swing causing pain.  I started having to open my toe and stance to reduce the pressure on my toes.  This is an interesting concept. The person whom bought them... is their construction quality?  I don’t like the sound of synthetic leather Th way use.

I get the concept. The larger toe box will for sure be comfy for the walker. I am in no hurry to spend that kind of coin though.

Well, I just took the plunge. I know they are $200, but they are built like a brick s&^thouse. It is very important to get the right size. They run large. My athletic shoes are either 9 1/2 or 10. My dress shoes are 9 to 9 1/2. I tried a 9 1/2 and they were too big. I returned them for a 9 and took them out on the course for the first time on Friday. I am a dew sweeper and a walker. They were incredibly comfortable and supportive. The grip was amazing. I didn't use the square toe as an alignment aid so I can't comment. I tied for my best round of the year, an 84, and that is with a triple on 17. I am a believer. And oh may the way my feet were bone dry. I know they are expensive at $200 and I am lucky to be able to afford them. If you are a social media user, you can be an ambassador and get back $10 on your shoes and $20 for every pair sold that uses your ambassador code. I think they are worth the money, but that is me. If you are considering it I say go for it but be careful of the size.

Thanks for the insight! I've been debating these shoes for a while now and I am an early morning walker, so shoes that will keep my feet dry are key!

Intriguing shoes, definitely a worth to take a look at if you are a walker as comfort is number one on the priority list. Having wide feet I have difficulty in finding comfortable and stylish footwear. Thank you for the great information

I bought a pair of Sqairz from a friend. I'm glad i did. They are very comfortable to walk the course in. The stability during the shot is much better than my other Puma or FJ brands. The toe box allows the foot to move naturally. Overall, the Sqairz are now my go-to shoes. I look forward to seeing new models/colors.

Aren’t the uppers some kind of synthetic material rather than leather? If so, do they get hot, and are they breathable?

I would assume they are not leather. I don't play in the heat of the day here in Texas, playing early mornings, so I don't notice them being "hot" any more than any other similarly constructed shoe. If breathability is important, they do offer a "mesh" version that uses a water repellant outer material.

To each their own. Of course I would without a doubt prefer function and performance over looks.

Also if they get noticed I think that is a good thing for the brand! Even if it isn't for everyones taste.

After a disappointing experience with my first pair of Squairz golf shoes when they were first introduced about 4-5 years ago, I decided to give them another try within the last year. I’m so happy with my newer Squairz shoes that I now have 3 pairs and I am thinking about getting one more pair.

Time to get rid of all of my Adidas golf shoes, with the exception of the spikeless “Code Chaos” models, which I wear for indoor golf on the simulator (I even wear one pair of those spikeless Adidas shoes as casual shoes around the house and for yard work because they are that comfortable).

I agree with you 100 percent. I had an issue with the originals. Bob reached out to me when we had the interaction on the SQAIRZ. He had me test a pair. These new shoes are excellent. I have purchased three more pairs. I am also looking at one more pair!

It’s nice to get some decent “secret discounts” once you become a regular and repeat Squairz customer, too!  I paid only $99.99 for my “patriotic pattern” Squairz and $149 to $169 for my later two pairs of “Speed” and “Speed Bold” Squairz shoes with the $50 off discounts.

Agree the discounts have been often and significant!

Play like a champion today!
