I really like it, I am seeing a nice mid high flight and I am getting much better performance in the wind. Still getting used to the sound though as it is much different than my Ping g410 lst in sound and in feel. I have hit shots I thought I miss hit based on feel only to watch them fly the full distance and realize I just hit them a little high on the face.

One thing I am finding is that I tend to hit the center of the club face very consistently. I am using the 7x ventus velecore and I really enjoy it. I do find that when I give it a little something extra vs trying to be smooth, I do get a lot better performance which is a big difference between the sim and the G410 I was using

well this thread has been quiet for a while which means that Im getting this club a touch later in the game, but .... I got the SIM Max D, Hazardous smoke Green Stiff

I told my buddy who played with me that the first swing was very important to me, as it would be the first and lasting memory for the club....

First hit out of the gate this morning was a monster considering it was 6:00 am. Longest hit on #1 in recent memory.- #2 drive was a touch high on the face and ended up the longest drive Ive ever hit on that hole. -par 3. #4 drive was as long as a great hit with the g400, and dead center.- #5 was slightly mishit, and still dead center and long.- #6 I though I hit really well, but wasn't as far as solid g400 hits, but it was center. #9 was dead center and long. 10 was a poor hit left, but still had a shot at green and made par.- 12 was too high on face, but still decent and center. -13 was absolutely crushed and  super long. -14 was mediocre and still ended up in average position, center. 16 crushed, 17 crushed like 20 yds longer that a great hit, 18 was solid, and middle...

So for a first game with a new driver, I couldn't have been happier ... Most mishits were slight, and still got there, and the monster shots were towering draws. The sound was much more subdued than the old ping, and it seemed huge compared to the g400, but also felt lighter...

I have gamed the max d for the whole season and this is the first time I have not wanted to change drivers.   I use to always hit tm drivers right but with this it is dead straight.    The driver is long and forgiving.  For a draw bias driver,  it also does not have a weird shape.

Guys,  don’t be scared cause it says draw.   The max d does it all.

The only downfall is I cannot find extra weights for it- lots for sim and sim max.

It was very accurate for me but after a few weeks I realized it wasn't any longer than my g400 lst. So I got a Mavrik SZ, and have picked up an easy 10-20, and sometimes more.

I could just be me, but the MavriK just dominated the SIM
