After a blustery week at the TOC, we are on to week 2 of the Hawaiian Swing. Personally some of my favorite views on the TV. Some day I’ll get to the Islands... some day. Might even order me one of those Pineapple FJ hats...

 

I’m going with a sleeper I think for this week... drum roll....

I’ve been twice. Only played golf once, (first time I was a kid with my parents ) and not at any of “THE” places, but it was still glorious. That said, Xander wins this week. He’s mad he didn’t win last week, and he’ll lap the field.

Hopefully they get him on TV this week. Wouldn’t mind seeing the young guns.

I like Wolf... but I don’t know how long I can watch him swing, my shoulders cringe every time they see him swing...

Webb Simpson plays traditional old-school layouts exceedingly well and is trending toward a win with all the top 10's he's had recently.  I think Waialae sets up nicely for him.

I have a good feeling about the young Lad. Choosing to go toe to toe with the Big Cat shows he has nerves... and he did well aside from a few shots.

Great player, and I think more good tournaments are headed his way.

A little Sergio like perhaps?  Only 21 and OWGR position 53... wow!  Many expect he'll be a routine Sunday contender.  I played with a young guy on Monday who plays for St. Ambrose University (out visiting his parents during winter break).  About the same stature as Joaquin and could really bomb the ball.  I kept up with him for about the first 5 holes...

Amazing that the guys at the top of the leaderboard last week will likely be cut this week. Guess Thomas and Reed will be able to keep themselves company.

I had never warmed up to Kisner over the last couple of years; just didn't care for his on-course personality.  Good player though.  However, the interview today changed my mind.  I agree with your assessment.

Thanks. I had never given it much thought until that post round interview. It struck me at how much better he is in front of the camera than 95% of those actually employed in that role.
