Ultimate Junior Golfer
Going into this year, I have finally started too stop coming too much from the inside. But now that I am coming more on plane, I cannot stop sending the ball way left. It looks like a pull hook, but my path is still in to out. I know this means it is a clubface issue, but does anyone have any drills or training aids for this? I think this has always been in my swing, but now that I am on plane it is no longer needed to get the ball to go straight. Thanks in advance! bens197
The “Hanger” is a popular device used to help with keeping the face square. Give it a shot. cnosil
Is the problem clubface or alignment? Maybe you are setup left of have the face closed at setup. Need to confirm what the problem is before you actually try to make adjustments. joen 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
alfriday101
Develop feel for the club head. Do back and forth (non-stop) practice swings concentrating on the club head. They don't have to be full swings, 9:00 to 3:00 swings work fine. Start with the club square, then turn it in so it is closed, then open it. Each should feel different. Do with your eyes closed to really feel the difference. It shouldn't take too long to be able to feel when you are swinging with the club head closed. Malaska recommends this as a warm up drill for players of all levels.

Myaghi
Are your grips the right size? Thicker grips will help calming your hands down and, thus, cause less clubface rotation. Might be an additional help to the drills already requested.
