Testers Announced - Fujikura Motore X Shaft

Recommended Posts

1.  Chris/VA

2.  Project X HZRDUS black stiff

3.  Anywhere between 95 - 100 mph, depend on the day & how my back feels!  🙂

4.  Better dispersion for sure.  And we all want more distance of course.

5.  No but for this testing I would find a location that has one.  Only because I would like to see the difference in numbers from my current shaft, if any.

Thanks for the opportunity.  This shaft intrigues me, especially the F3, being firmer around the handle & grip & how it would translate into more carry distance.  Plus I've never gamed a Fuji shaft except an old Speeder.

Maintain launch angle with less spin for more distance. Better ball speed would be a super plus.

I have a personal launch monitor and periodic access to a monitor at a cost. Additionally I have a tracking system so that I am able to accurately measure actual on course driving distances.

Thanks to Fijikura and MGS for the chance to apply for this test.

Tour Exotics 3 wood is in the bag because we are allowed 14 clubs.  It's a great club for pulling balls out of the water or from bushes - you never want to put your hand into anything in Florida unless you are absolutely certain that it's safe.  There are rare wind conditions when I might hit it off the tee on a few holes that I play.

I’m basically maxed out right now according to true spec golf in Chicago. So it would be interesting to see if a new shaft gave me anything better in terms of dispersion or distance.

I have regular access to a launch monitor as long as it is before summer 2020 so the indoor places don’t close up for the summer.

Would like to bring spin down and have better dispersion. Ball Speed/Distance would be a plus but not necessary

What if anything would you like to improve in regards to your driver shaft: Less spin, tighter dispersion, and cut one side of the course off.

Do you have regular access to a Launch Monitor-- Possibly. But not for sure.

spin control is solid but I’d like to feel a little more unload through the ball. Feels stable but almost too rigid.

More distance. Other than that it feels great. Just looking for something different.

No. But could talk to someone at my course who has one. Or download one and use it for the test.

Currently have an Aldila Xtorsion Copper 70X shaft, and I’ve been looking for something new to decrease dispersion. I’m intrigued by some of the technology Fujikura has to strengthen the tip, as I have an aggressive load in my swing. Getting the advantage of length my swing speed  offers with a more consistent impact on the face would be amazing.

Swing speed is between 115 and 120.

I have unrestricted access to a Foresight launch monitor.

Tighter dispersion and a better feel overall. Spin and distance is secondary

Would love to see spin come down as well as dispersion tighten. Would also love to comment on the phone fitting of a shaft compared to my current shaft off the rack and how much of an improvement that can be.

I have access to the Garmin handheld launch monitor but unfortunately no trackman or quad.
