With the release of the USGA/R&A Distance Report this week, it seems the perfect time to offer a review of a shaft that is designed for....guess what...more club head speed. The Fujikura Moto

Thomas - North Carolina

115-120 club head speed

would love to just have more control on dispersion. When you swing fast you can get in trouble fast.

i would have access to indoor trackman at a local place I go to often.

MItsubishi Tensai Chemical White 70X

105 - 110 mph

I switched to this shaft losing 5 yards of distance but creating a much lower spin rate. Dispersion and low spin are a major factor for me, I'm tall and steep.

Yes - access to a monitor.

First Name/State: Aleck/ NC

Current Driver Shaft: Fujikura Pro 2.0 Tour Spec 6X

Current Driver Swing Speed: 112mph

What if anything would you like to improve in regards to your driver shaft..such as more or less spin, better dispersion, more distance..etc.: I would like to see less spin and overall more distance.

Do you have regular access to a Launch Monitor--Not required, but would be helpful in testing: Yes, I have regular and frequent access to a launch monitor.

Chris/ Florida

Fujikura Blue Six X-Stiff Shaft

Something that I want to see out of the shaft would be lower spin rates and the ability to crate any shot shape with ease. Having the confidence off the tee and continuing through the round with the same confidence levels is a must have. The distance isn't much of a worry since if you are able to place the ball in the right spot in the fairway then it’s target golf from there on out.

I have a GC Quad that is useful for testing if necessary.

Project X Evenflow Black 75g 6.5 xflex driver shaft

Swing Speed 115-120mph

Would like to lower my spin and trajectory. Tend to have a higher flight and spin that reduces my distance.

I have access to a launch monitor.

currently game a Diamana D+ X flex

Swing speed is 111-115

A shaft that gives me confidence to work the ball off the tee if needed but also the confidence to let one fly when I need to carry a fairway bunker.

Have regular access to launch monitors at several ranges and a few courses.

Fujikura Ventus Black 7X

.Just got the Ventus so 2 rounds in so far and it’s really good. Maybe just continue to work on dispersion but I’m between S and X so maybe one of these profiles works well for that
