I would love to test this shaft.

High School Coach

HDCP 3

Driver sing speed ~106

Last season - TaylorMade R15 Stock stiff

Recently purchased a 9 deg Cobra F9 with Hzrdous Smoke 60

I have noticed a lower trajectory and tighter dispersion indicating lower spin and lower launch angle.

I have a SkyTrak.  I have a driving range down the street.

I am looking to find a shaft that will help me gain clubhead speed through a simple shaft change.

ProjectX Hzrdus Smoke 6.0

105-110 driver swing speed

I’d like improved feel, better dispersion, and a little higher launch while staying in the mid-spin range (seems like most low-mid spin shafts launch a little too low for my liking)

I own a launch monitor and have a full screen simulator set up in our gym.

James/Kansas City

Currently using Atmos red stiff

95-105

Would love to see the spin rate come down a bit, I plan to have a full fitting this year as a Father's Day present and I have committed to play on Golf Weekly's Amateur Tour.

I have the SC300 that I use indoors and at the range, I also get lessons at Golftec and have access to practice sessions with videos there as well.

Right now I'm comparing a stiff UST V2 (got fitted for it) and a stiff Ventus Red 5 (curious)

98-103

Improve attack angle and decrease spin. I'd also love to compare it head to head with the Ventus.

Yes, I own a Rapsodo MLM and use the Trackman from the range occasionally.

Halley/Florida

Fujikura Pro 73 Tour Spec X

117mph swing speed

Like most, I'd love to see spin come down and dispersion tighten. Been playing my current shaft for years, so I obviously love it, but I just had to get a new head (M5) because my old one (M3) broke, so I'm starting to see a 2-way miss which I hate

I have access to launch monitors, but I don't personally own one.

With the release of the USGA/R&A Distance Report this week, it seems the perfect time to offer a review of a shaft that is designed for....guess what...more club head speed.

The Fujikura Motore X shafts hit stores this week, and even debuted in the bag of at least one PGA Tour Pro at the Waste Management. You can read all the details of the new shaft on the home page in this first look piece by My Golf Spy's Chris Nickel, to see how Fujikura says they are able to "Multiply" a drivers swing speed.    Read it Here

Will it work for you? Well that's what we're going to ask five forum members--that reside in the United States--- to test for themselves and report back to the forum on the results The five testers will go through a phone fitting with a Fujikura fitter to determine the best model for them. They will then receive the shaft put it through paces on the range--Ideally with a launch monitor access--and on the course over several weeks, track and monitor the results versus their current gamer, then write and publish their full length review here on the forum.  Testers will be required to keep up an ongoing dialogue in the review thread while testing the shaft.

Once the testers are selected and most likely during the phone fitting, you will be asked what driver head you are using, and the shaft will be sent with the adapter for that head, you will be all set to put it on and go test!!
