dlow206
I can't wait to get this test started, but it is probably a good thing for me personally that the shaft hasn't arrived. I am still sick right now, and if I had the shaft, I am sure I would probably try to go out there and swing even though I have no energy at the moment. On a side note, being sick causes me to spend more money. I bought a Hzrdus red shaft off of ebay for a cheap price to throw into the mix for this test. edingc, cnosil and sirchunksalot 3 Quote Follow my golf journey to break into the 80s Tester for the Titleist TSi Driver Spring 2020 MGS Tester for the Fujikura Motore X Shaft Updated 07/15/2022 Driver: Rogue St Max LS - Autoflex Fairway Woods: Rogue Max St 3HL and 7 Wood Irons: JPX 921 Hot Metal 5 to AW - Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff parallel tip Wedges: Glide 4.0 54 and 58 Putter: PLD Custom Kushin

I was wondering what they do with the extra weight that they save with their magic "phantium" paint. Just the name of the paint sounds like something that special ops would be using. Is it like a golf club where they are able to re-distribute weight to other more effective parts for better CG? My guess is that because shafts don't really have CG that they are able to better stabilize parts that have higher torsional stress? I guess the bigger question is "exactly how much weight are they saving?". Is it enough to make a 70g shaft 69g so they can classify it as a 65g? or is it more substantial and impactful on the actual construction of the shaft? Sooooo many questions running round in my brain! Sooooo many questions running round in my brain! I'll kinda give a bit of a spoiler from what my write-up was going to be with this shaft. After my fitting, I ask if he had time to answer a few questions around this shaft to get a little more in-depth as to the reasons behind why this shaft was created. They took the learnings from Ventus, tightening dispersion, and basically asked how can we hit the ball further while still keeping the tight dispersion that Ventus promises. To come up with that design, they used their ENSO system to capture what happens to a shaft at certain points in the swing. The impression that I got from the conversation was that this shaft will twist a lot less, especially at critical times, than others. My guess is that the weight they took from the paint, no matter how little, was put into the tech to prevent that twisting. That's one of the reasons that I'm really excited for this because of my aggressive transition in my swing. This shaft should handle that transition extremely well. cnosil, azstu324, JohnSmalls and 5 others 8 Quote Driver: Callaway Rogue ST Max 3 Wood: Taylormade SIM 3 Utility Iron: Srixon U85 4i – 5i: Taylormade P790 6i – AW: Taylormade P770 SW: Taylormade MG3 TW Grind LW: Taylormade Hi-Toe 3 Low Bounce Putter: PXG Battle Ready One & Done
