In another post I’m looking at filling in the top end of my bag, just added the mavrik max driver and thinking about the mavrik line of hybrids and fairways .. then I seen this “super hybrid”... anything with super in the name must be fantastic... but then doing research and I can’t figure out who this club is actually for? Anyone try this thing? I'm having a hard enough time swallowing driver prices for fairway woods but a hybrid for $320 is a non starter for me to even pick it up. I did see it in the store though and it is truly huge in size. Almost made it look unplayable in a way because it was so big at address. I'm sure it's more versatile than it looked but again, because of the price, I'm not even going to go down that road. Quote My bag is a revolving door! Mob Posted March 18, 2020 Share Posted March 18, 2020 I have a 17 and 23 degree super hybrid. I actually like them a lot. They are forgiving and perform well. They are basically a cross between a hybrid and fairway wood. I use the 17 degree for second shots off the fairway that require 220 yards or more and the 23 degree is my 210 yard club. So far so good, but I haven't had enough playing time with them to say anything definitive just yet. Weather is still crappy here, so I hope to get a better idea once the weather turns.
