cciciora13
The one that hits the ball in the hole . Seriously, try them out and see which ones perform best for you; could be an iron you didn't even expect to have! NRJyzr
Funny how this turned out. After reading the first post, I thought about suggesting Cobra as an option, they have a lot of ground covered. Keep reading, and there they are. LOL Though I've never played them, I'm a believer in Srixon stuff, also. For this thread, it's academic, but doesn't hurt to leave it out there... 1 Quote Driver: TM Original One 11.5* set to 11*, Aldila NV75 X, 43.5" -or- SpeedZone, HZRDUS Black 75 6.5, 43.5" 3w: Cobra King LTD, RIP Beta 90, 42" -or- Stage 2 Tour, NV105 X, 42.5" 2h or 3h: TaylorMade Stage 2 Tour, Aldila NV105 S -or- RIP Alpha 105 S Irons: 3-PW Mizuno MP37, Recoil Proto 125 F4 (reshaft in progress, slowly); 1i & 3-PW Golden Ram TW276, NV105 S; 2-PW Golden Ram TW282, RIP Tour 115 R GW: Dynacraft Dual Milled CNC 52*, Steelfiber 125 S; Scratch 8620 DS 53*, Steelfiber 125 S SW: Ram TG-898 56*, DGX ss2x; Ram Tom Watson 55*, DGX ss2x; Wilson Staff PMP 58*, DGS; PM Grind 19 58*, stock shaft Putter: Snake Eyes Viper Tour Sv1, 34"; Ping Scottsdale TR Craz-E, 35"; Cleveland Huntington Beach 1, 35" Ball: Wilson Staff Duo Professional, Bridgestone Tour B-RXS, Callaway Chrome Soft
Firebird
Go to as many performance centres as there are available and hit all there top clubs. I tried Callaway, Ping, Mizuno, and Cobra. I ended up buying Callaway but not the recommended club (Big Berth Irons) as I found the Steelhead Pro felt better and it was easier to work the ball. It is always going to be a personal choice. I loved the Ping and way with Mizuno you could mix the various irons but given my special requirements, Callaway was the best choice plus they had a special that included a Hybrid for free. I'm also curious, I just got fitted and picked up a set of Forged 919's...did he select the shaft for you on his own or did he rely on the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer or some other gizmo? My fitter said he stopped using the optimizer a while ago... When I got fitted for my 919F my fitter also refused to use optimizer. He did everything by eye and impact tape and Trackman. Can't complain with the results! Pkkenny88
Has anyone tried the Sub70 699 irons? Their price tag is very appealing. I tried the demo clubs and they gave me extra yardage without sacrificing accuracy. But wanted to hear from you guys rather than just what their website reviews were saying. 1 Quote Use for all clubs. Love the feedback and caddie options the app provides.
