Moecat 15
For myself - combining both quality of the course and value (important, I think, because of today's economy) - I like Poppy Ridge in Livermore, CA (http://www.poppyridgegolf.com/virtualtour/tour.html) and Half Moon Bay Ocean Course (http://www.halfmoonbaygolf.com/index.php?page=the_courses-the_ocean_course) in Half Moon Bay, CA. With Poppy Ridge, one can get discounted green fees through www.golfnow.com. At Half Moon Bay, one just needs to sign up for a free email newsletter to get green fee discount info. TWshoot67 40
There are many beautiful courses in the Pa., NJ area most are private but there are some gems that are public and that's pretty much all I play. I will get a list together of all the courses I've played in a day or two. I'll have to look at some of my score cards I've saved!
