Jmikecpa
Played my last round for a while I guess. All clubs on Long Island are closing by 3 PM tomorrow. First one in Oregon from what I've seen anyways. The course had homes built around it many years ago and Id say that average members age is 65 to 70. Just a guess. Most of the people that live on the course are retired as well. I drive by it daily to and from work and the place has been crazy packed with all the sun we have had here in Salem, OR. Lots of retired folks out playing with a mix of walkers and riders. I am seeing more posts from local courses with added precautions such as 1 rider per cart, no rakes, raised cup, and the usual precautionary stuff. Drove by my course after work. Apparrently its open to members to walk or use theirr own cart. Im thinking peeps bitched. No pins or rakes. 1 Quote DRIVER: Cobra F9 10.5 Tensei AV Blue 65g 3W- Callway XR PRO 16 stiff 5W- Alpha- Mitsubishi Diamana Redboard w/band Irons- Mizuno JPX 919 Tours with S KBS Tour shafts Hyrbid- TM 4h mid-rescue Vokey- Vokey SM5 51 degrees, SM7 Wedges 54 and 58 1/2 half 3 degrees upright Putter- Taylor Made Rossa Monza Mini Spider Ball-ProV1 and AVX

Cptmphil
As of today, Monmouth County NJ, closed it's courses. It really sucks, since a golf course is a perfect place to practice social distancing. I'll check the local semi-privates to see if they are open but not very hopeful. If anyone hears something new, please pass it on.....Thanks!
g-mo
All private courses in ATL are closed. No walking, no staff, gates closed. No projected re-opening date. Tough days!
tchat07
Local cow pasture course is closed which hurts because that's the one place I figured would stay open. Unfortunately expecting the governor to join in on the shelter in place mandate on Monday so that'll close the rest. DaveP043
So far, our private club in Northern Virginia is still open. However, cart use will be discontinued, walking only, and members only, no guests. Food service is take-out only. Virginia is still not been hit very heavily, but the next week or two (or more, I don't know) could still see additional shut downs. 1 Quote Irons Titleist AP2 714, KBS Tour S, 3 flat Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X 52, 56, and 60 wedges B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia

For now with all the limitations you guys have already stated including restaurants & bars closed.Everyone is taking their own cart which I don’t believe is mandatory but in is done in practice. Only exception is one guy who’s Alzheimer’s is progressing and can’t be alone or drive. CamDeen
Got to get out here in SoCal yesterday, tried to play the same course today and it had been shut down. Looks like that was the last go around for while. While being off of work was hoping to be able to play LOTS of golf. Hopefully they open up the courses by next weekend? Fingers crossed. 1 Quote Driver: TaylorMade JetSpeed 10.5 S 3 Wood: Taylormade M2 Fujikura S 5 Wood:TaylorMade r7 Fujikura S Irons: Taylormade P760s 4-PW +1/2" DG 120 S Wedges: Titleist Vokey 52, 56, 60 Putter:TaylorMade Ghost Tour Black Balls: Bridgestone Handicap: 13. Shame because I think with the cups above the hole thing, golf is probably one of the few things you could possibly do while maintaining safe social distance from your friends. Hell, even without them since I don't hole putts anyways! 3 1 1 Quote Driver: Rogue ST Max LS Tensei AV Blue S 3w/5w: TSi2 Tensei AV Raw Blue S 4h: CLK 22* Hybrid Tensei CK Pro Blue 80HY S Irons 5-PW: 223 Steelfiber PR 95 S Wedges: RTX Zipcore Tour Rack 50, 54, 58 Steelfiber PR 105 Putter: L.A.B. revkev
So far most of our courses are open - resorts have shut down so we were one of the last groups to play Innisbrook. All of our courses have gone to walking or individual carts, don't pull the pin, no rakes - I have a friend who lives off the 15th tee at St. Pete Country Club - He's a member so I would imagine that we could play a three hole rota even if they were shut down. We'll see though. 4 Quote Taylor Made Stealth 10.5 Aldila Ascent Red R flex Ping G410 5, 7, 9 wood Alta 65 R flex Wilson D7 forged 5-GW - Mamiya recoil 460 R flex SCOR 52, 56 Ping Glide 3.0 Ping Eye 2 grind 58.8 L.A.B. DiscipleofPenick
Ohio went to shelter in place today, but golf is considered an "approved outdoor activity" by offical statement of the Governor's office. The weather isn't great yet but courses are planning on opening as planned soon. The only ones I've seen close are the ones that don't allow walking.
