Wedge shaft suggestions if irons are C-Taper 120 stiff?

I have always had either DG S300 or S400 in my wedges so just curious if others that either currently play C-Taper or have in the past have used different wedge shafts.

I’ve got KBS Tour 130x in my irons, (Bstone Tour B JGR’s from an MGS test) and I had my Ping wedges made with the same to keep the same feel through the set. I’ve read pros and cons regarding doing this, but it’s working well for me.

I'd agree -- my best wedge play has always been when I have the same shafts in my wedges and irons. Something to be said for consistency...

General rule of thumb is to go a little heavier but slightly softer in the wedges. Its why you see so many pros with x100 iron shafts and s400 wedge shafts

I asked KBS for a suggestion and they recommended heavier, stiffer, and a PW shaft instead of a "wedge" shaft.

Stiffer is... different. Not many people go stiffer in wedges.

i guess everyone has their own thoughts on what should work; that's why you have to try it out.

I don't think there is a single consensus on what is ideal,  even the video you posted says to experiment.

Ian Fraser actually says a great trick to the go heavier and softer for slower swing speed players is to go up a flex but then soft step an 8 iron shaft.

Bob Vokey suggests going one flex softer in your wedges than the rest of your irons.
