Net Return Pro Series. Just got it, works great so far.

Real Feel Country Club mat. Love the mat!

I have the original Net Return Pro series that comes with the 8 foot mat. It's been AWESOME during this quarantine bs. Really dont think theres a better net out there.

I have the Ruckett and the NetReturn.  They are both great nets.  Overall, I prefer the NetReturn.  The pros of the Ruckett over the NetReturn are that it is bigger and more portable.  The pros of the NetReturn over the Rucket are that the ball comes back to you.  It doesn't get stuck in the net like in the Ruckett.  It's a pretty big benefit IMO.

Doesn't the net return cost about 4x as much as the rukket. $150 vs $550 is a substantial difference

I’d love to have a better mat since I hit on my patio/concrete, but I can’t pull $500 for the top mats. So expensive for synthetic grass.

Check out Rawhide golf.  I've seen a lot of guys really happy with the B grade mats from there.  It's a 5x5 for around $150.  I haven't tried it personally yet but another forum has a bunch of guys that were happy with it.

I agree- but I’ve got one of the $89 nets (basically due to others being sold out), and I’ve blown about 3 holes in it so far... cheap junk

I bought pressure treated plywood, used 3m adhesive spray, to attach gym mats , then  fatigue mats attached same way, then  artificial turf stapled for easy replacement. This is 5x4 ft, then I have another piece same way 30in x 4ft with an indent for golf balls, You can see the mat on my Instagram TYORKE1  , maybe 150 in it and well worth it, I then  bought the same net as the value net from here and I have a mevo, net here friday . I have 50yrds cut in bk yard for small range

Here's my concern with using a net: I use it to hit balls and groove a bad swing. I feel like it will be difficult to use it productively when I don't have any idea where the ball would have gone to help diagnose my problems.

I had the exact conversation with my buddy the other day, he is a scratch handicap. I told him that, it’s better than not swinging at all, but also if you focus on strike location and that is good, you’re a good enough golfer to figure out in a few swings where the club face needs to be.

I would say for you as a 3 you are exactly the same. You play well enough to know where the club face is and can correct in 5-10 swings seeing full flight.

In my experience, you can tell if you have hit a hook or slice or have generally poor contact.  The risk is more of getting away with fat shots.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't say that I'd be able to feel a hook or slice, which is basically my concern.

I'm working on getting my hands more forward at impact, so I'm hoping I can groove that by swinging at 60% and video.

All the components are on order so we'll see how it goes. Partly doing this as the next best alternative because my club will not be opening its range initially and it may be closed for a while apparently. That would really suck.

Been looking at hitting surfaces and my budget. I've had elbow issues in the past so I need to be careful of mats that are too hard or "sticky".

Thinking about giving this a go: https://www.synlawngolf.ca/shop/synbermuda-211/   Costs CDN$9/ sq ft   I'd get a 2' x 3' piece for the hitting area.

Also looked at their Tee Strike product which looks a lot like Country Club Elite but I've read some reviews where players found the Country Club product a bit sticky which would not be good for my elbows. https://www.synlawngolf.ca/shop/synlawn-tee-strike/

Both of those products are rated as their most durable.
