One thing is clear, we're not simply shilling, we each gave this our honest best. I have a feeling that my opinion of the clubs will continue to climb as I play them more, and I think that comes through in the review. I know I said I'm going to stop thinking, but I'll make sure to update this thread as time goes on. ... I think I was in a unique position to review the T100-S irons. Happy with my P790's until a winter in Phoenix where hard fast fairways demandend more spin than the 790's produced. I found a like new set of P760's on Ebay and they were a really good transition from the 790's. But if the T100 series would have been available at that time, I would have bought them. They are everything I am looking for in an iron, at least aesthetically and on paper. So when the T100-S were offered for review by MGS members I jumped at the chance. ... Now that said, just because these were irons I would have bought had they been available when I was in then market for new irons, doesn't mean their actual performance when playing would garner a rave review. However, they turned out to be the irons I hoped they would be and of all the irons available at the moment, I can't think of another forged Players Iron iron that would check all the boxes for my game. So this was just about a perfect storm for Titleist, MGS and myself and hopefully my review helps those that are seriously in the market for Players Irons that look like MB's at address. I know I said I'm going to stop thinking, but I'll make sure to update this thread as time goes on. It didn't take long for me to come back. I played in an interclub match on Sunday, and had a pretty solid day, 79 on 72.3/137 at about 6560 yards. Hit one driver off the course, but was otherwise pretty solid. I'm feeling much more relaxed with distance, much more able to just make normal swings. I did hit one iron shot over a green, but 2 of the other 3 guys were long too, we all misread the wind. A couple of holes later I picked a perfect club, 132 yards uphill, into the wind, a little 8-iron 3/4 swing with the ball a little back, in to 10 feet. That's a 150 club flighted down and hit smooth, me trusting the club. For most of the day it was improved trust, solid swings, solid contact, good results. chisag, yungkory, artful_golfer and 6 others 9 Quote Irons Titleist T200, AMT Red stiff Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X T22 54 and 58 wedges 7-wood 5-wood B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia

JonMUSC08
Went over to a Golf Galaxy to try out the T200’s and the Srixon 585. I’m a 150-155 7-iron hitter. Had a bit more trouble turning over a slight draw on the 585’s and no distance gain. The T200’s were awesome. Loved em! I was peppering the driving range with a wonderful baby draw. THEZIPR23
So as not to leave everyone wondering, the T100-S are a good club but would have been a backup for me. Alan hit me up and offered to trade for his Blueprints. I honestly didn't want to do another test of irons, as Srixon's are just too good for me. However after contemplating it for a couple of days I had an epiphany. Shane, my "golf wife" of over 20 years has owned 2 sets of clubs during his 40+ year playing career and on top of that he told me a week prior that he was thinking of Ping irons. So I accepted the trade and gifted the blueprints to him. And while they are not technically in the MGS family, they are and forever will be on a leash attached to me. I am not sure I can convince him to join, but I plan on getting something, interview, thoughts etc. to add to Blueprint thread. Thank you Titleist, MGS and MODS for another great testing opportunity. It seems that the takeaway of the reviews/outcomes in this thread that the T200's could be classified as an "I like them...but I don't love them" set of sticks. I wouldn’t necessarily say that. If I’m not mistaken there are a set of each still in testers bags and a set of each that didn’t make it. As for me they may still end up in the bag when I’m done being a ho! As I said in my review they tick almost every box for me. I think the take away from this review should be that they are great irons and will fit a lot of golfers. However just like other irons they will not suit/fit everyone. As always getting fit is the best option and hitting as many as possible to truly know which is the best for you. brendalonian and Rickp 2 Quote What is in my Sun Mountain C-130 bag or Jones MyGolfSpy bag Driver: Dark speed LS 8* set to -1.5* with an Attas Daaas 4x shaft @ 45” Fairway: F85 3 wood with a XPhplexx Agera X @ 42.5” F85 5 wood with a UST Elements Chrome 7F5 @ 41.5" Driving Iron: Rapture 2-Iron Irons: SMS Pros 4-PW with Steelfiber I95s Wedges: SMS 50* T grind with Steelfiber i110s Glide 4.0 46* zz wedge shaft Glide 4.0 E grind 54* zz wedge shaft Putters: Mezz.1 34” 69* lie EV5.1 black 33.5” 69* lie

I don't believe any set of irons will transform my game, or anyone's game, as long as you are already playing with decent clubs that are at least an approximately decent fit for you. Having said that, the T200s are really solid clubs, and will remain in my bag for the foreseeable future. They offer a definite advantage over my previous clubs (AP-2 714), in that they hit the ball higher for a given carry distance. The forgiveness is good, and they look great. They aren't going to take me from a 5 handicap to scratch on their own, there's no club made that can do that, but they're certainly good enough to allow me to improve my game to scratch level if I'm physically capable and I put in the work. Like as compared to love, you'll never hear me say I love any particular set of clubs. They're the tools we use to play a game, and these are really good tools..
