Classic Restored Hogan Iron Heads

Well guys with the lockdown in full effect it’s a great time for a project.  I’ve got more projects than I need right now including building a new home office, so I am passing on some incredible deals.

First up is a set of 1958/59 Ben Hogan Saber Sunburst iron heads,  2-Equalizer, all fully restored to new condition. Here is your chance to build your ultimate dream set of Ben Hogan irons. These heads look as good or even better than when they left the factory over 60 years ago. Two heads have rings on the hosel instead of hash marks. I needed to find the perfect candidates for restoration. These heads look like fine jewelry and will be an heirloom set to pass on.  Heads take a taper tip .355 shaft.

$495 shipped to the USA

The second set is a beautiful, fully restored set of 1960 Ben Hogan Power Thrust iron heads These heads have been stripped, rechromed, and given a satin finish which makes these heads look even better than they did when leaving the factory 60 years ago.

You get a set of nine heads, 2-Equalizer Wedge all ready for .355 taper tip shafts of your choice.

$495 shipped to the USA

Or if you like, I can send them fully built with original Pro Fit steel shafts in regular flex and new GripMaster leather grips for $650 shipped to the USA.

I’ve been working.  Just got back to regular work and this craziness happens.   So now the plan is to covert my workshop to a home office and move the workshop to a shed.

They are gorgeous.

Not looking to buy them, but it is giving me ideas on how to pass the time during this stay at home, I got my old GCDs sitting on the basement, I might bring them up get a good clean up and paint fill the numbers and letters just to display it at home.

I got to say great craftsmanship on your side restoring them.

I should clarify.   These were refinished by Oughton’s Golf in Sacramento.   Completely stripped of their chrome, all chatter ground and polished away, and rechromed with professional high quality chrome.   This can’t be done by a restorer at home.  It’s actually very difficult to find anyone in California to do this process due to environmental regulations.

The finish is like a brand new club head.

With the Hogan iron test coming up let’s see some Spy’s build these classic Hogan’s to go up against the modern equivalent.
